Dan the fisherman
Stripers continue to hold on points and humps. I’m sure fish could be found in the backs of major coves as well. Fishing a variety of depths help identify where the fish are/will be holding. Again very early starts have been key for me as the bite seems to die off about 8am for the Stripers. 3-5 inch gizzards have worked best but minnows will work in a pinch. I did get out yesterday and fished PC to coppermine for green fish and did very well. Caught about 20 fish… Fished from 7-11am. Drop shot and spoons did the damage. Fished humps, points and channel swings. If it had cover like a brush pile or tree sitting in 25-35 fow it was 🔥🔥. Otherwise used trolling motor to cover water and fish finder to locate. I’d start aggressive with spoon if that didn’t work I’d use dropshot. Nothing huge. Mostly spots and small mouth in the 1-2 pound range. No pics of green or brown fish but here are the Striper from Saturday. Good luck and tight lines fellas nomolites, Quillback, BilletHead and 8 others
