Dutch Posted August 25 Posted August 25 I am modifying a lead mold and need to find some wire. Stainless steel is preferred but not absolute. I have wire to .043 in but would like to find some in the .060 range. Any help is appreciated.
fishinwrench Posted August 25 Posted August 25 I have a pile of old outboard control cables out here buried in the weeds. Want me to go put a micrometer on them ?
Dutch Posted August 25 Author Posted August 25 Thanks. It’s too hot for anyone to be out in the weeds. Maybe when it’s cooler.
fishinwrench Posted August 26 Posted August 26 A little thick. But if you think it'll work I'll send you some to try.
Dutch Posted August 26 Author Posted August 26 Yes it is too thick. I appreciate the offer though. I have found some .061 that I think will do the job. fishinwrench 1
