It was almost 2 hours before Jeff got a jig fish. I couldn’t get a jig bite but caught some on shaky. We fished the main lake, creeks, bluffs and coves. We never could get a pattern. We wound up with about a dozen with maybe 1 keeper spot. The water was 68° and we had a light ne breeze with a mile high sky. We dis see a guy load a pontoon on a goose neck flat bed trailer. On my way home on HWY 90 about 15 miles west of Washburn, there was a brushfire going, could see the smoke from 20 miles away. Couple of fire trucks on the road, but don't know if they could get back to where that fire was. It is so dry out there.
