water color, Horseshoe Bend

Went to HB Marina to check on Tritoon as hadn't been there since before the big rains and the Mrs wanted to take a cruise on this nice day.

No fishing today as waiting for impeller housing to be delivered for fishing boat.

Here is a photo of water color just north of marina.   Color about a mile downlake of 12 bridge is colored but far less muddy.   Will take a bit to clear up.

A bit of a stain for sure, could provide some opportunity, water is still fairly warm, get a bit of wind and could be a good shallow water bite.

Looks like heaven to me after nearly a year of too-clear water. Time to get out the blade and squarebill.
