Powder Mill Question

Hey all,

 

I'm planning a trip to the Current and we're planning on taking our boats out at Powder Mill. I haven't been to that access in a long while and I know we've had several huge flood events in the last decade. 

Can anyone give me insight on the state of that access and if it's still viable for a take-out point? 

Is the gravel bar still there? Can I get my truck to the water? Is there still a campground there?

I saw a post from a few years ago on google maps that had a picture of a big cement block blocking off the drive access to the river. Is that still there?

I do not know, but I'd probably call the park service...https://www.nps.gov/ozar/planyourvisit/conditions.htm or any of the nearby CG's/Boat Rental operations.

The visitor center was wiped out years ago at Powder Mill, but I think there is still gravel bar access.  No boat ramp last time there a couple of years ago.

Fall 24 flood may have took that out too.
