Members olbasser Posted yesterday at 12:47 AM Members Posted yesterday at 12:47 AM Have Elite FS 12 and an Elite FS9 that I want to network. . Bought ethernet cable and have units connected but they do not communicate. Thinking I have bad cable or units have bad connectors. Any help would be appreciated Thanks
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted yesterday at 09:29 AM Posted yesterday at 09:29 AM Back in the earlier days of ethernet we often had to use a crossover cable to connect 2 similar devices. I'm not sure if that may be your issue. A standard ethernet cable would not allow the devices to communicate. May even be serial type connection. If you had the pinout for the com signals, you could make a custom cable. Quillback Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I did not watch this video, but if you do a search on something like "Networking an Elite FS9" there's a whole lot of info out there.
