Hey everyone,

I’ve been having some trouble keeping pests out of my vegetable and flower gardens. Lately, I’ve noticed ants, aphids, and a few beetles eating the leaves and damaging the plants.

I’d like to manage them without using harsh chemicals that could harm pollinators or the soil. Has anyone here had success with natural or eco friendly pest control methods for garden use?

Do things like neem oil, diatomaceous earth, or companion planting really work?

I’d love to hear what’s worked best for you all in your Ozarks gardens while keeping everything safe and organic.

I use dawn dish detergent and water in a 1 gallon sprayer for aphids.  For ants I use food grade diatomaceous earth from Wal Mart.  I use a salt shaker to apply it.  It only works when dry.  If it rains you have to reapply it.
