edwin Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Was able to get out in the Aunts Creek area for a couple hours first thing in the morning on Tuesday, Weds, Thursday. WT45-47 All my fish came on a 2.8 Keitech. I could find active fish tight to the bottom or brush piles in 25-40' of water, normally in areas with deeper water close by. Scrubbing the swimbait was the key...anything more than a couple feet off the bottom produced lots of lookers but few takers. Fair number of boats out fishing deep in the middle of the lake, that only produced one fish for me. The bite for me was over by 8:30 or so. tight lines, edwin Ron Burgundy, SRV1990, snagged in outlet 3 and 5 others 8 "Advantages are taken, not handed out"
Dock-in-it Posted February 13 Posted February 13 Edwin, I think the deep fish are getting smarter each year with the increasing pressure. They are really good at ignoring my swimbait. Quillback and edwin 2
