Bill Babler Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Jim had been seeing our post catching a few fish and wanted to give it a whirl. So, in old Bob Barker lingo, I said “come on down”. Wanted to catch some Big Small Jaw’s and I think he accomplished that. Fished 11 locations from 0700 till 2:30 and caught multiple fish on all locations but 1. Caught them all swimming the 2.8 on a 1/4 oz. Head. Only caught 1 SM that was spawned out. And all the K’s were ripe and not close to being ready. Surface temps in that same 65 degree range with Ice Tea color water. Great to see Jim and we had a blast today. snagged in outlet 3, Targa98, rps and 4 others 7 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Dock-in-it Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Bill, regarding the first picture with the dock in the background. Back on April 8th you did a great post with that dock in the picture and it also showed a nice house right on the water. It has been a while since I paid much attention to that flat gravel area. And the dock and house are new. So this morning I decided to run to red barn area and fish flat gravel back to Wolfpen. I am fishing down the bank and noticed that dock. Then catch a 3# SM about 75 yds past the dock. And your 1st picture in this post shows the same dock and location where I had some luck. I was there about 9:45. Can you share what depth range seems to produce on the flat gravel. I have been sticking with the 4-15ft range. Today, the fish started biting better around 9ish. Quillback 1
Bill Babler Posted 4 hours ago Author Posted 4 hours ago I haven’t caught any as deep as 15’. I’ve been keeping my boat 15/17 feet. Eric told me to keep the boat in 20’ so I’m probably driving over some. We were in there at 0700, it was my first stop. We had 9 in there and only made a single pass. All prespawn. I’m guessing 4’ to 8’ for most all for me. Dock-in-it 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
