i hate to be a pain but if we decide to get this seminar off the ground could we schedule it for a day i don't have to work? if not i understand but i really would like to go and let me know when it gets close and i can give someone my work schedule.

I'm new on this board but have been keeping track of it for a while.

I would love to go to a seminar on fish finders/gps. Count me in. It would be great if its on a weekend but would take off work for this. When I'm on the water I'm fishing and don't mess with the sonars/gps. I know I should but I hear the fish calling me.

I think alot of the guys are deer hunting this week... I know Babler is and I'm leaving tomorrow. I think you'll have their attention after the season ends... I think a seminar would be great this winter. First of December? Branson? Or would Springfield be better? I could get the room at Bass Pro possibly.

You can count my son and me in on the seminar. We'd love to learn as much as we can about manual use of the graphs. I went to a seminar by Mike Webb and it was very good. However, going through it several times always helps to make something stick.

Tuesday 12-18-07 at 6:30 PM there will be a workshop at Bass Pro Shop on dropshot and spooning. I'm sure electronics will be discussed to some degree during this session

No disrespect to Bass Pro or the Fishermen who present at those seminars, but I want to meet and talk with regular guys like me, who I don't feel intimidated by. I think and know from everything I read that Mike Webb is awesome with his expertise of deep fishing and the intricacies that go along with it. But in my opinion, if we get a seminar together from this board, we could have a better chance at having an informal meeting with maybe some possibility of hands on experience. The more I read this reply the more it doesn't even make sense to me, but I will post it anyway.

I've gone fishing with Mike. He has always been very kind, went out of his way to help me with anything he could and I've always felt like he was "One Of The Guys". To each their own, and I can understand wanting to do something that would not be affiliated with any particular store or dealer, but Mike is one of the guys. I'm not suggesting that Mike should, would or could do this. I simply stated that I had attended one of his seminars and that he greatly helped my understanding of the manual use of graphs.
