To my knowledge, only one show has even tried to change from the old country shows and they are not even on the strip anymore.

There are many shows other tham "old time" country. For one, the Haygoods. Settimg records every year with the number of sold out shows they perform. Very upbeat, modern, and lots of rock and new country. Branson Dream Theater has had a good run with several classoc rock shows.

Just curious though, what demographics chooses C&R? The privileged? I see people from 8 to 80 C&R in the trophy area.

Not an age, or economic demographic. A style of fishimg demographic. Dedicated trophy fishermen, mostly fly fishimg. The majority, if not 100% releasing fish of all sizes unharmed

, I am afraid 90' boats and casinos are the future..the first shot of that was the landing (Las Vegas of the midwest)..

The Landing, Las Vegas of the Midwest. I can't stop laughing at that enough to type. That has to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard about Branson.

Also, check your facts about casinos. By state law there can not be one on Branson. Furthermore, it is a law that would be near impossible to change.

We changed it just a few years ago so that they could have river boats casinos in the City. Same crowd can get it fixed to have a casino in Branson if they want to. A good pr campaign and a bit money put in the right places and we can change the state constitution to allow casinos in a wheelbarrow.

That vote a few yeats ago insured that there would be no more casinos on Missouri. Even if it wete changed, which is nearly impossible,  it would never be approved in Branson.

The possibility of a Tri Lakes casino is strictly an aluminum foil hat conspiracy theory.

I’m 31, but heen coming down to fish Taney for probably 20 years with dad. Branson has been as busy as I remember it the past few years. I’m more about the fishing and food than the shows but now that I am getting older, I am starting to become more interested in seeing more of the shows. We watched Moses at the Sight and Sound theater the last time we were down and had a blast.

Stiff like Steal your Dollar City don’t do much for me unless I am going with little kids or people who haven’t been before. Seeing them have a good time makes it more enjoyable than if it was just me and the better half. We have done it plenty of times before so the novelty has worn off.

I don't do jet boat tours. Might take a kid or two for a ride that are drooling all over the Gator when it's docked at Lilleys, but no tours.
