I can honestly say from my experience the local warden (Mcdonald /Newton County) Does a pretty good job considering how much water there is. I have been checked on Indian Creek, Shoal Creek, Capps Creek, and Elk River off the top of my head. I do fish a lot, but I am also young. 2 weeks ago I watched a couple locals get nailed for a short smallmouth while carp fishing, after receiving the ticket, they said "at least that means we won't have to worry about getting checked later." Enforcement only matters if it is respected as well as regs.

Ran over to Branson yesterday evening to do a little 40mw exploring and got to the lake just in time to do a once over of a few spots before dark. Fished From 8:30 until 2:30 or so and it was a GRIND. Got bit around 10 for my first fish, a solid little chunk of a brown, and promptly had 2 slash at my fly on the next 2 casts. Went until midnight without more than a bump or 2. moved down below the ramp for about an hour to change it up and got zeroed down there. Thought about crashing but went back out by outlet 3 and picked up 3 more, 1 was a solid 16"+ bow and jumped off a good fish that i couldn't pick up line fast enough to keep on. Crashed in my truck until 6 and came home. Caught fish on Black and pink, other colors were a no go. Just a little too much flow for my liking, but still picked up a few. 4 to hand, 2 lost, 10ish real bites. Not wanting to upload pics so maybe it didn't happen.

Thats Roaring River. Only a small section that wading is allowed in the park.

You can usually get blems from omtc for what a used one goes for. Good boats I love mine.

I always ( usually, sometimes, try to ) tie at least 2 of everything and shoot for 4. anything other than stupid easy stuff and i get bored many more than that.

Some good suggestions everybody, thank you. I f work allows its happening next week. If work doesn't allow, 2nd week in September it is. Still unsure where but have a few mor avenues to check out.
