Basically 4 different write ups on the same studies?
Im missing the point, maybe that more people should keep guns on them. All that I took aside from generalizations on both sides was that studies show that fewer cases involving people defending themselves with a gun exist than are claimed by a few non scientific studies. I would like to see a study on how many people are murdered or robbed that was carrying a gun vs not carrying. I think that if a study like that existed, it would likely refute your choice of links.
Looking like I unknowingly volunteered to do a party float this Saturday. I dont believe I have ever done the river over 1000 cfs before. How does it float at 1500? Im assuming fast, clear and makes for a short day of ?fun?
About a month ago, I was mowing hay and had a big fat momma quail pop out in front of me. Stopped to let her run out from in front of me and watched over 2 dozen babies follow her out. It was ridiculous, didnt know they could have that many babies. Super cool! I have heard more quail around me this year than I ever have.
Walmart and your local Texas Roadhouse are most likely not places that would be included in my "time to time".
I personally would rather see a doofer D packing a gun in a place I am than some wildeyed hillbilly or inner city rat with baggy jeans looking around like the hills have eyes. Seeing guns in public puts me at ease.
Fully aware of all above, as well as how stupid it looks walking around with a S&W model 10 on each hip, also well aware that it CAN look bad in the wrong setting. Refer to original post, im not "that guy" and don't plan to be.
