Im between that and a midge attractor pattern I just came up with that I dubbed "chub candy" because I wore out the chubs on during its maiden voyage.

I just ordered an airflo supple ridge tactical line in wf6f. Kind of an impulse buy........ has/does anybody fish airflo? 20 bucks I figured it was a good gamble. Also grabbed a SA mastery textured trout for 30 bucks in case, you know, the airflow sucks.

Amery destroyed the trout fishes on hoppers last weekend. I tend to throw lead in the winter but he caught as many or more than me on his hopper. (and thats A LOT)

I agree. I have only fished it once, but there is no reason to be allowing big boats on that small of a lake IMO

Tailwaters are made for winter fishing IMO. Get on it, bring your midge box and you will do well.

I took a trip with Davy Wotten 2 yrs ago. I learned more in 8 hrs than I could process. (also caught nearly 150 fish in the process). If you can afford it let him take you out, its unbelievable.

scuds and sowbugs are basically dubbing on a hook with lead and/or bead. just as easy as a zebra midge. Eggs on a 1/100 jig head are stupid easy, 5 or 6 wraps around some yarn, pull tight and cut STRAIGHT.

Trout are a generally dumb fish. Regularly smarter than me but I truly believe over thinking it has cost me more fish than anything else. I have probably caught more fish on a #10 prince than any other fly. Not to mention I fish #14 midges, and that is WAY bigger than the natural. Get your fly down and they will probably (maybe, hopefully) eat it. Stupid fish.

Maybe those working are happy to have the work? Ill be working on thanksgiving as well as Christmas, its my job and im happy to have it. I knew when I started that it would be 7 days/week more times than not.

I am a very lucky man, missed a very good deer opening day and got a second chance with another deer last night. We called him Tex.

Anybody who has hunted for a length of time with a bow has or will eventually lose a deer, it is an unfortunate reality. You just have to learn from your bad experience and apply that to your next opportunity. IMO not waiting long enough after the shot is the #1 reason for lost deer. I made a bad shot last weekend on my personal best bow deer and pulled out until daylight the next day. He was still (barely) alive. Had i looked that night I would have bumped and likely lost him.

I threw up, i can no longer support Mizzou let alone their football team. Very sad I have been a Mizzou fan from birth, went nuts when we beat OU, went to Atlanta to watch them in their first SEC champ game and drove to Jonesboro on a whim this year.
