    Tuff Day

'Leech Man' date='13 April 20.......Of course I was the good looking one. Yeah, yeah....more fish stories! www.drydock516.com
  2. Welcome! Headed down this weekend. Stocked up on jig heads and plastics today. Gettin' itchy....... www.drydock516.com
  3. I bought a Cabelas auto-inflated, not certain which model, 3500? Regardless, I do remember the salesperson talking about some of the models not being inflated by wetness but rather water pressure.
  4. I'm @ A&A too, Mike. On 39 across from the boat repair shop. New storage units but we had so many mice my wife made me quit using sticky traps. We'd grab the boat on the first day we were down there and a few days later when it's time to head home we'd open the doors to the unit and there's a bunch of mice squirming around...."That's gross, now what are you going to do with them??" (Uh gee honey...catch and release I guess.) Bob, too funny, but Marty tells it differently I bet! Kids suggested last night we hit the road Friday night. They're only down until Monday mid-day. They wanted to get in some quality fishing so I'm counting on you for a heads up. My wife and I plan on being there through the 23rd unless the weather doesn't cooperate. www.drydock516.com
  5. Any idea if the restaurant is staying open?...they were back to back if I remember right. www.drydock516.com
  6. Headed to Stockton this weekend. Should have my boat out of storage by then. Hopefully the mice left us alone. Tried a new place this winter, gravel floors. Have to get the critters trained. www.drydock516.com
  7. I'm not assuming Bob's doing them nor am I volunteering him. Give him a shout, see what's up.
  8. Roger that! One of the reasons we bought a home in Stockton....albeit a small reason. Makes the 5 hour trek from Omaha a little more worthwhile. My wife doesn't mind a long day on the lake as long as she gets a Bongo's fix. We also like the Boat House on 39 in Stockton. Decent bbq, cold beer. www.drydock516.com
  9. Thanks for the info..... And welcome! www.drydock516.com
  10. That would be a bummer. Bob was stretched pretty thin at times last year. As a matter of fact I haven't seen him on here much either.
  11. Contact Bob Bennett: http://www.fishstocktonlake.com/ he was doing Thursday tournaments. www.drydock516.com
  12. Too funny.....kinda thought you were up to something though when you brought the wife into the story in the manner that you did. As we all know all male OAF members are the captain of the ship! ........well, in most cases. .......part of the time anyways. www.drydock516.com
  13. How's them downriggers working for you!?
  14. "They're accurate, but the one I have been readin in metric..." That's going to dramatically affect the keeper count... www.drydock516.com
  15. Sounds like that might be a good move. I do know of one crappie tournament that was being put on by a friend of mine. It was supposed to be at the end of April but for the life of me I haven't seen him promote it anywhere. (You can call him ,Thunderin, @ 417-955-2768 Leonard Burton.) www.drydock516.com
  16. Not very bright are you? (Nothing personal, just continuing your humor!) www.drydock516.com
  17. Instead of the bass tournament or in addition to? www.drydock516.com
  18. I was reading an article the other day that was suggesting the government was going to allow anything under 15% need not be identified as such on the pump. Hope that doesn't happen. We were vapor locking on 5% last summer. The pumps weren't marked at all. www.drydock516.com
  19. LBummer! That particular weekend has been our nemisis too for the last 3 years. Drove through a dang whiteout this past Saturday to get to the banquet. Keep the faith Thunderin, those kids are worth it. www.drydock516.com
  20. Hope the weather holds up for you guys, Thunderin. We're suppose to camp out @ a buddys' place this weekend & then go to a Ducks Unlimited banquet Sat. night. Suppose to snow now (Schuyler Ne.) so we might end up staying inside. Yeah, I know.......wussie. But my sinuses just won't cooperate anymore. And again........good luck with the tournament!
  21. Thunderin...... How are things shaping up for the tournament? Thought I'd remind the good folks on here for you, hadn't heard much lately. Good luck to you!! www.drydock516.com
  22. Had 'em on my engine. But my kids & wife did not like the bright stickers on a new boat.....still trying to catch the culprit who took them off. Gotta give 'em credit though, they did not scratch the paint taking them off. That would've been plank walking time for sure.
  23. Grand children. That was the deciding factor in our latest boat purchase. Having run the full spectrum of boats over the years our latest boat is a 19' Alumacraft w-150 Honda. Not as smooth of a ride as some of the glass ski boats we've had but definitely serves the purpose. And like you said a ski pylon can be put on for the kids. Tows very well and is pretty fuel efficent. High side walls make it a lot safer than a bass boat but definitely not as 'kool'.
  24. Welcome! Stockton's where we hang out too. Looking forward to getting back on the water. Be safe and good luck catching 'em.
  25. I'll see him @ 10:00 Saturday morning. I'll tell him you're looking for him. He's probably just enjoying some time off before the busy season.
