  1. If you can go a little more try new line of G.Loomis, Falcon or I have heard really good things about Lew's new line.
  2. I was in the James today and saw nothing like that.
  3. Had another good day today. Still concentrating on drop shot. I did catch one good K on a jig. Fish from 7am-2pm. Bite was good early, slow mid-day and better when the wind picked up after noon. Once again I caught the majority by 76 bridge. Got bites around all 3 pilings, but northern most was the best again today. Zoom finesse worm in Plum and Watermelon Candy. Caught right around 20 fish. Best five prolly went 8-9lbs. Man I love drop-shotting now.

  5. Yep. You get used to a certain length/weight equation. Summer time has made skinny. Good fish any how.
  6. Nice
  7. Difference between Trolling and disagreements.
  8. Dam. Bill is a guide and one heck of a Salesman.
  9. Someone might correct me but I would think they would be on vertical stuff. With this hot weather fish should set up somewhere next to deep water. They can go up to feed or down quickly without having to travel as far.
  10. Shakey head. 3/16 or 1/4 with green pumpkin Zoom trick worm. Might try some kind of flipping bait for the bushes.
  11. I hear ya Champ. I was commenting on Abkeenan's post. He mentioned the last few years. I should have used his quote. I commented just after him on the timeline. I didn't fish TR this past season so I have absolutely no input on the matter.
  12. I hear ya. Wasn't an indictment of your skills. Just an observation. They were working them over pretty good.
  13. Dudes wearing a vest and long sleeves. Was there a cold front I'm unaware of?
  14. I was a Marshall for that Bassmasters last year and they were flat tearing em up on jerkbaits.
  15. That's what I I was thinking. I bought one last week to give them a different look. Didn't use it much but I will keep it on for a while.
  16. Bill. Have you guys used a blade bait at all? Tried one briefly Sunday. Is that a winter time bait or is it good in summer as well?
  17. Find any small pockets off of the main lake area. I have a lot of luck with Zoom Mag I I worms black in color. They work good Texas rigged or on a shakey head. Black spinnerbait with big Colorado blades can catch some big ones. They will be focusing on noise and vibration. When I night fish with worm I peg a 3/8 oz tungsten weight and keep my rod tip down and drag it on the bottom keeping constant contact. If they are around it they will hear it. You can use black jig too. The fish will usually bite the worm or the jig better sometimes. Try both, the fish will let u know which one they prefer.
  18. I was concentrating on drop shot in Cape Fair last Sunday but my buddy was using shakey head. He was definitely catching better quality fish than I was. Same type structure. Good job.
  19. Yep Champ. Can't fix stupid. I'm sure their sack would have suffered if they didn't get to their spots 1 minute earlier.
  20. You can definitely tell the difference between a gar and bass hitting the surface.
  21. Think link isn't working. This one should work.https://youtu.be/s_a7AZbJGNM

  23. Lunch!
  24. I used to lose them too. Drop a couple hundo on a pair and you tend to pay more attention to their whereabouts.
  25. Awesome. When an eye doctor weighs in you better pay attention. Good stuff. I love my Oakleys but their lenses don't last very long. Any lens with a color coating from Oakley will lose its coating and start chipping off.
