I think with flouro you can get away with stronger line. I need to experiment with lighter line. Maybe I would catch more fish. Just seems like fishing around here and dealing with rocks and constant hangups and snags I have to re tie more and break line more often.

12-14lb flouro out in the open. 17-20lb Flouro if im around brush or pitching.

Yeah. I agree. Another week or 2 and you should start seeing walleye. Those whites won't be far behind.

I went a month or so ago. You want to ask someone where grass and hydrilla are located. We were Throwing traps in 5ft of water with grass and ripping it through. Caught a few biggest one being a 5lb 15oz. Things might have changed since then but im still guessing that grass is key right now. Good luck.

I would give my left nut for an 11lbr anywhere right now. Nice fish. What's the guy supposed to do in an aluminum small boat? Guntersville would be tough in something that size. Glad you guys had fun. I love seeing pictures of big fish. You guys were enjoying it and sharing photos. Nothing wrong with that.

I have a 7ft6 mojo. Wanting to trade for med heavy 7ft or shorter. Mine is in fair condition. Just hace too many longer rods.

Any one fish Everett at Beaver? Didn't hear results but I did hear 5lbs was in the money. It's been brutal. We fished winter series last weekend and it was won with 32 lbs over 2 days. We had just under 7lbs first day. In 11th place. Headed up the river Sunday and I threw a blade off my prop around Horseshoe. Of course I didn't have a spare. Finally borrowed one and fished from 11-2:30 and caught 2 for 3.5 lbs. Finished out of the money.

I've heard setting upper and lower limits gives a clearer pic than just zooming in. I watch these guys video game fishing with amazement. They set hook before they feel the bite. I want to able to do this. If I can learn how to catch deep fish my confidence will be sky high. Right now if shallow fish aren't biting im in trouble. I feel if im gonna get any better I have to learn how to catch em deep.
