  1. Hey Champ. We were there that same weekend and practiced that Saturday before the team event and we used exactly the same thing when we caught our walleyes. Did'nt measure them but they seemed about the same size. You must have been talking to Chris at Hook Line and Sinker about those Kinamis Lol. That Natural Shad is awesome. We struggled Sunday but did catch a SM that was 3.84 on that grub. Good luck the rest of the season I will look you up at Stockton. Thanks for all the info.
  2. Do you guys confront these people or just blame yourself for being out there with all that traffic. I had some lady pulling a guy on a wakeboard and ran right by me and almost threw me on some rocks. I just let it go. Chalked up as ingnorace. But I would have been pissed if I would have to had to fix some fiberglass. Thanks for your input.
  3. You can buy crank baits that will get close to that depth with Flourocarbon line. Storm makes those wieghts that u can stick on the bill or on the bottom of the crankbait. Check out the new Dredger crankbaits from Basstar. You can fish them as deep as u want. Wieght is on the bill and it is designed to stand straight up when it hits the bottom that way you won't get hung up. Good Luck.
  4. That's a nice one! Congrats. I talked to one guide this morning said he was catching Striper this morning. Said it was pretty good. He was in Rambo mouth. I saw another group catching one there as well.
  5. A lot of Striper Guides trolling the bluff between Rocky Branch and Rambo mouth. I caught one Bass fishing early morning with a Zoom Super Fluke.
  6. I was fishing the mouth of Ford's creek on Saturday morning and caught a Striper around 5 lbs. I was bass fishing and using a Zoom Super Fluke in Disco Violet color on a 7/0 EWG Superline hook. Only caught one striper so Im not sure if it was by itself or in a school. Lots of action there that morning. Caught LM,SM,KY and Striper in same spot.
  7. Thanks for the report. What was the water temp? What was the clarity like where u were fishing? Do any flipping or pitching?
  8. Do you remember what the water temp was? Thanks for the report.
  9. There are a lot of public ramps all over Table Rock. I would start there.
  10. 1/4oz Jig with Kinami Natural shad grub. You guys might also try a scrounger head on a grub they work good also.
  11. We had a fantastic day at The Rock this Sunday. We live in Arkansas and got to Aunt's creek at around 6:30. Caught some shorts in the back of Aunt's Creek on the last point where the two creeks met. Used One Knocker Spook. After we left there we went to the point that is across from Aunt's Creek ramp. Did well in this spot. Caught several on Zoom Super fluke and a 3 1/2 lb Large mouth on a Buckeye lures wake bait. We left there and went aroud the corner where the island is in the middle of the James. We fished here for most of the rest of the day. There is a bluff end with a point and a flat that is around 10ft deep then it drops of to 130ft. We wacked em all day right there. We would sit in 10ft and throw a Fluke out over the deep water and the fish would come out of the deep and hammer em. We ended up catching 43 fish with about 10 being keepers. There was a nice mix of LM and SM. We caught more KY than anything. Also caught 1 Walleye and 1 White Bass(male). All fish were taken with wake baits or flukes. Over all we had an awesome day dispite all the rain early in the day. I absolutely love Table Rock Lake and I am jealous of all those who live close to it. Thank you to everyone who writes reports in here. It is very helpful and educational.
  12. U fishin Sunday? If so where? I'm goin up aunt's creek. Had awesome luck there last time. Just wondered if was gonna be too swift or too stained.
  13. I like to cook the fish wrapped in bacon. When its ready I throw away the fish and eat the bacon. Lol. Just kidding. I never eat the fish I catch which brings me to my question. Do you folks think that it hurts the fishery to not keep fish when u catch them. Do you think it harms the growth of other fish because there are too many? The last thing I want to do is harm fish in the long run because I don't take them home when I do catch fish. I appreciate everyone in here and your opinions. I love this forum. I look forward to reading it everyday.
  14. I couldn't agree more or say it any better than that. The only thing I could add is that I love to throw a Fluke. Shad patterns seem to work awesome at the Rock.
  15. Try fishing a Topwater frog like a Spro Bronzeye or Snag Proof. You have to wait even longer. It's nerve racking but also as fun as it gets.
  16. I'll be out there with ya. I can't wait. I wonder how stained the river and creek arms are?
  17. Wow. That surprises me about the flukes. We caught the heck out of them at Table Rock with them. A buddy and me are fishing in a tournament there in June and have never been on BS before, so I am trying to gain as much knowledge about this lake as possible. If you have any general tips about fishing BS I am all ears. Thanks again for your help.
  18. Thanks for the report. What is the clarity like? Use any grubs? Topwater?
  19. Good job. Appreciate you being in the Military. We are proud of u guys. Thanks for the info. We are fishing there in a tournament in June and have never been on Bull Shoals. Any information is good info.
  20. They are supposed to be the best thing out there. U don't have to do anything but reel it in. Word is they are better than a redfin or Bomber Long A. They make several colors but I here bone is the best. They have them at Hook,Line and Sinker in Rogers. They are selling like crazy. I only saw two left in the bone color.
  21. How long have they been on the beds and do you still expect them to be there in 2 weeks. Thanks for your help.
  22. Did you guys see Roland Martin's show today? He had Mike McClelland on there and the show was about the Mcstick. They were killin em with the Blue Bandit color. They caught a spot that was 5lbs.
  23. I have heard good things about the Rick Clunn Baitcaster and they are on sale for $79.99 @ BPS. I didn't really know anyyhing about them til I talked to a local tackle shop guy. He said he has around thirty of those reels and he loves them.
  24. I'm with you big Al. I have Mojo Flippin stick and a Mojo spinning rod. A Carrot Stix spinning rod. A regular St.Croix spinning rod. I have a Powell jig rod. A Wright and Mcgill Skeet Reese Crankin rod. All Star Platinum casting rod for spinnerbaits and a Shimano Covergence rod that is good for jigging. I have had great luck with all of them. There are so many good rods out there and the prices just keep getting better.
  25. What are people's opinion of fishing this arm? Is it going to be warmer or colder than Gravois to the dam? Geographicaly it looks like it is 20 to 30 miles south of bagnell. Does anyone know how the water clarity is in that arm? Thanks for your help.
