Sore Thumbs

Is there anyone here who has been to any of these seminars? I have heard of them but have no idea where to look. I bought that Electronics 101 from BassEdge. It was decent but I would like to know a lot more. Like how to put stuff on sd card and watch it on computer. Fine tune on the fly. Which palette is best. I have 2 hds 7s and im pretty sure im not utilizing them to their full potential. I want to master my electronics. I think it's becoming more and more important.

I caught a walleye on Beaver last year on a craw wiggle wart. It was a 5.4lb beauty. Didn't know they would hit a jig though. Thoiught they liked faster moving stuff.

It's too late. Deadline for gaurantee is the tuesday of the week before the week of the tourney. FLW rule. I just found that out this morning when signing up for Grand. I have a guaranteed boater for Okie division on March 8. They said deadline was yesterday. Now im on waiting list.

Unfortunately that's just how it is. They have to mention sponsors to keep their ride. I think everyone understands that. I let it go through one ear and out the other. I get it. The older I get the more I realize that he could have caught those fish on a bunch of different crankbaits. Just got to use the right color and depth. There are few exceptions(wiggle wart) that might be different. All this gear is good now a days. I met Howell on the water at Grand last year. I was following Skeet. Howell was back behind a bunch of sail boats throwing a jerkbait. He was as nice as any angler I've ever met. He was telling us about breaking 3 Megabass earlier that day. Shooting the breeze like no big deal. Cool guy.

You guys need to try the Tomahawk by Missle baits. Very similar to ole monster but has a split tail at the end of it.Caught some good ones in Ark. On that.

Not sure but Howell was using a crankbait the last day. Some new Livingston that is coming out. He said it was a craw pattern.

That would be correct Champ. I fished for 3hrs today and not a sniff. Throwing nothing but A-rig and jerkbait. Beaver will humble you in a hurry.

Man you guys are lucky. I went fishing only a handful of times when I was younger. Did go hunting quite a bit. I took up fishing on my own about 6 years ago. I'm pretty much self taught with guidance from places like this and some people I have met along the way. When I need any advice I will talk to Chris Johnson. He used to be at Hook,line and Sinker. Great guy. I have a lot to make up.

Nice Boat. I didn't even see your guess when I posted. I got to reading local reports and they are thinking those guys are gonna wack em. So I figured between 23-25 lbs. Per day.

I'm changing mine now. After reading some reports I believe weights are gonna be higher than I thought. 72lbs 14oz.
