U need to take me with you Champ. I've never been on that lake. Fished Hamilton and DeGray. They are beautiful. I hear Ouachita is even better. Oh and I love to eat too. Lol

I got mine as well. My favorite one is the brown head with the green flake. Gonna try it tomorrow.

51lbs and 8 oz. Basically a 17 lb avg. If that lake warms up in the next week I could be way off.

Any one watch the most recent Pro Team Journal with KVD? It sounds like he is ripping a huge fart when he is picking up that big 7 lbr he caught. Let me know if you guys here it too or if it's my TV. Lol

State Farm dropped me after 2 claims in 4 years. Even worse my agent didn't even tell me nor did State Farm send me anything. I was uninsured for 6 months and didn't even know. Fortunately nothing happened.

Skeet Reese does well in Alabama. Aaron Martens is a finesse guru. He will be in the mix. There are bunch of great fishermen from Alabama too. Swindle,Horton,Russ Lane and many others. It will be a good one to watch for sure.

I bought some of these on Ebay in an 1/8 oz. Looks like they will work.

If I could have 5 fish 18 inches long in every tournament I fished. I would be cashing a lot of checks.

I'm sure all jerkbaits work if properly used. I remember I was fishing a BFL at LOZ about 4yrs ago and people were goin crazy buying them from a guy who was selling them out of his truck. Being inexperienced at the time I felt like I was missing the boat if I didn't buy one. I have been using them ever since. I don't turn my nose up at any brand. If I hear they work. I'm gonna try em. I have heard a lot of great things about the Squirrel from Jackall. That will be my next jerkbait purchase.

I might be a little off kilter boys. I have nothing better to do than buy stuff online cuz those fish just aren't biting right now. I have wanted that color of jerkbait ever since I saw it a few years ago. By golly I pulled the trigger. I might be a fool but I can gaurantee you if I catch em on it. I will be on here posting picks. If I don't. I lost it or something like that. Lol

Champ. I have a feeling that first tournament is gonna be brutal. I know we have a warming trend coming. I just don't think it's gonna be enough to kick start the bite. Hopefully for your sake it does.

Whites aren't too picky. I think they eat just about anything in their path. I use sqare bills and small deeper diving crankbaits in a variety of colors.

Great colors. I have seen those on ebay. My only reservation would be the fact of whether is the real pre Rapala or not. You wouldn't know until you got it and listened to the rattle. By then its too late. You have already bought it.

I use LH reels. You can find some really good deals in ebay sometimes. Lefty reels are in less demand therefore the price is better.

I think deeper is better now than in the spring. That being said. There is not a huge difference in how deep that plus one goes. I'm sure it would work just fine. I'm waiting to break out my bright red vision 110 that I just got in the mail. I think it will have its day come springtime.

Just wanted to say congrats to Greg Bohannan for his 2nd place finish at the Big O this weekend. He is a great guy and was due for a good finish. Just had no idea it would happen this early in the season. He is in great shape for AOY race. Good luck Greg. We are all rooting for you.

Champ. It's unbelievable how easy it is to hit that club. You should try one and see. I can hit that thing 210-220 with confidence and it sits softly with that degree.
