  21. run your line at a 45 degree angle. this is determined by your speed and BB weight if you are going slow early in the year you want need as much weight as later in year . when you go faster add heavier weight to keep that line about 45 degrees.

    F&f Question

i have lowrance hds10 unit with downscan and structure scan. i live north of tulsa so i can get any service easy because thats where lowrance is located. i also have minnkota 80lb trolling motor with i-pilot . for trolling virtually hands free + i love the spot lock anchor feature w/o disturbing the water to hang over a spot . as for ease of use its not bad. you cant hurt it just play around with it. there is quick reference cards to get you started but it does have more features than i use. i also like to be able to stop the screen movement if something catches my eye so i can stop on it to study it a bit. the side scan is good to be able to find other structure that you pass but are not directly over it so you can mark it and go back over the spot. i intend to get a new 12" then i will use the 10"only for nav. its expesive but very good tools and if i don't get it now i won't be able to afford when i retire.
