  1. Launched at Jimmy Creek yesterday. The road to the ramp is likely under water at 674 ish. You could use it a little more, but I bet they will close the road when water gets on it. Water is fantastic. Smallies are everywhere.
  2. I'm more interested in Ham fishing live on BSL this afternoon. But the other would be fun too.
  3. RPS, you're a lucky guy. I love ES. We make it over 1/2 dozen times a year, How do you trailer a boat thru the twisted maze.
  4. Holy Smokes! I think I liked 632 just fine.
  5. I did not know you were allowed to throw anything except the lure that shall not be named.
  6. He did things in the wrong order when closing a car door.
  7. Its just a little too far away for me to spend much time on it. I would be interested in kayaking it.
  8. IF you are going to change boats, I'd go up to a 48 inch at least. I won't own another trout boat under 48 inches wide, but that's just me.
  9. I certainly don't want there to be flooding on Taneycomo or anywhere else. Is the carrying capacity on TR so minimal that they can not handle 925? What is normal pool level on TR? I was thinking it was 916 and that 925 would give you lots of cover to throw surface plugs and obnoxious spinerbaits around. I thought I remembered fishing it at tthat level before and catching a lot of fish. I know we caught a lot of fish, maybe I am not remembering the water level correctly.
  10. That sucks. I try not ot worry about it, but it is always a possibility that our vehicles will be vandalised when parked in remote areas. I've been lucky up to this point. No reason for it at all. None of your behavior was wrong or inappropriate in any way and nothing justifies damaging someone's else's property.
  11. Man that beetle grub without a spinner is really dropping off in effectiveness, you guys only caught 43 bass in 6 hours of fishing. Sorry it was so slow. I'm sure it was good to be out on the water anyway.
  12. I'd like 925 better.
  13. Lol
  14. Man, TFR, I can decide if you are Chocken Little or Mother Hen. The rain is gonna fall and the lakes are gonna come up. If you live in low lying areras " Turn around, don't drown". I refuse to worry about it. I know streams that clear up fast and I planned on fishing Bull until middle of June anyway.
  15. Or you could just make a decision when you catch the fish out of hot water, to a) release them or keep them. IF you are gonna kep them, then on ice will have them firmed up nicely for cleaning when you get home.
  16. Sounds Great. I remember when I used to fish. Vaugely.
  17. That's less than I would have thought. Dont add a lot of weight with a motor and depth finders and anchor systems and STUFF.
  18. How much does it weigh TFR?
  19. I've been on the BAD end of the stick of jet boaters on three different rivers (so far). I own a jet boat AND I in general think most jet operators are not as considerate as they should be. BUT there are places on the river where the jet boater has little choice but to stay on plane. He (or she) may spot you too late to get off the throttle without damaging their boat. They may annoy the heck out of you, but I don't blame someone for not wanting to tear their stuff up.
  20. I don't see the set for the front.
  21. I think that riffle is a little skinny to float thru. Gonna HAVE TO GET OFF AND DRAG A LITTLE.
  22. Glad I hit it when I did.
  23. I launched earlier this year when the lake was 668'. The ramp was usable, but you had to hunt and peck for the ramp and have all 4 tires on your truck wet to get the boat off the trailer. That day you were wading to the courtesy dock as well. I'm gonna call that about my "Max".
  24. I talked with a very nice gentleman that has turned his sole focus to walleye years ago. He is in the Twin Lakes Walleye Club. Fishing is a major passion for him and all of that energy is being spent figuring out walleye. I asked him what a good trip for a good angler trolling for walleye on Bull was and what his best day ever was. He said a good trip is 20 walleye and lots of non walleye coming to the boat. His best trip ever was 76 walleye brought to the boat. 76. That number was pre fish kill, but the walleye should be coming back strong since it only takes 3-4 years to go from fry to keeper. I guess I will keep catching them on accident and be happy for the ones I get.
  25. Fish 24/7 what is the lowest the Theodosia ramp is usable and what is the highest that you can use the regular ramp? I know you can launch off the downslope at some magical super high water level, but what is the max to use the normal ramp.
