  1. Hey John, Current River. It was dead easy once I fished a flow that had Shadow Bass.
  2. I don't see why not.
  3. I get bit almost everytime I fish it. Not every cast you understand, but when I pull up on a point and fish it, I will generally get bit, but the numbers of bass are NOT where I want to be. I'm going to fish it more, but I'm not jumping onboard withthe 90's or GFix 80's. It needs to produce more bass and larger bass. I need to put it in the right places more often. I'm convinced it wil work, but I'm still working out better places to throw it.
  4. Again, I beg the divers for intell on yellow perch location. Seeing any?
  5. They live a bunch of hours away and have a newborn baby. Maybe next year on that deal.
  6. Soon REALLY Soon.
  7. Sure will. Doing it now.
  8. i really struggled with the photo thing UNTIL some kind souls talked me into a PhotoBucket acct.and walked me thru the process. Basically once you have the acct set up, you are able to copy the in the form of a website link. I'm able to quickly post the photos to an OA post.
  9. Excellent point. During the winter/early spring trout certainly do move up the Buffalo from the White, but I wouldn't count on catching too many until you get to that last pool that connects to the White this time of year. Good Luck with your trip. It should be awesome
  10. So are we calling the dates 12-12,12-13, and 12-14?
  11. I haven't fished BSL since June. But soon

UK got jobbed in Florida. Refs missed the daly of game call. Impressive showing by the kittens. They are Finally on an upswing.
  15. Enjoy your breakfast. You certainly earned it.
  16. I'll chisel it in stone. We're getting the band back together!
  17. Dec 6/7 is a BAD weekend for me. I work onwe weekend a month and that is one of my working weekends. It might still be the best for the majority of folks, but I won't be able to participate.
  18. iI'd love to fish with you again Andy. Setting the date is always the hardest part. I usually stay at my house. Last year the group stayed at Riley's station and that seems like a good fit, but AGAIN we need to establish the days involved and see if there is room available at Riley's station.
  19. The traffic on the river is ALWAYS greatly reduced that time of year. The brutal weather made it extra so, but it won't be crowded. The fall is my favorite time of the year to trout fish. Cooler weather is pleasant to me , but scares some folks off. You also have some folks that are hunting and some folks are busy watching football and heck I think a lot of people only fish during the summer. it all adds up to plenty of trout very willing to bite.
  20. What would be the advantage to having a 60 HP with 40 HP stickers on it? I get it when it is a 15 HP with 10 HP stickers, but...?
  21. I'd love to do it again. The sooner we get some dates nailed down, the better chance I'll be able to attend. Is doing it between Thanksgiving and Christmas better for most? Weekend better than during the week? If we do a Friday,Saturday, and Sunday, ppl can make whatever part of it they could. Thanks for getting the ball rolling LRF.
  22. Well that kinda takes some of the fun out of it. I thought those "40 HP's" were doing great.
  23. An 18 1/2 inch smallie on a creek or river is a BEAST. Glad you had a specieal day.
  24. I was very impressed with the performance of the Blazers boats I saw on the Current spring before last. The guys running 40 HP's were doing very well I thought. A 60 HP should do even better. The boats seem really, really practical. The jet operators were often really inappropriate and reckless in the way they ran their boats. I hated that part of it.
