  1. Hey Super Dave, Suggest to Ned that he work with a lure company or two to get the ultimate jigheads and soft plastics made. I understand it has a wide variety of options. BUT He could work with Z Man to make the Ned Series. Elastec Fish Doctors. , smaller Shad shaped , smoke sting ray design, a 3 inch zero, or whatever he would think was perfect. it a handful of the best colors. Heck start with 5 baits in a handful of existing colors and see if sales made it worth expanding the line up. The jigheads would be 1/32oz thru 1/8oz in weedless and non with hook sizes # 4 thru #1 painted and plain. I'd love to keep it in house with a crew of Ned Heads, but the start up costs are too large for me to consider.
  2. Communism is spread by felt?
  3. If you are in Protem, I'd spend my time in Big Creek. It's a freaking lake by itself. I'd love to hear how y'all do
  4. Heavily spring fed rivers seem to be slicker than streams that fluctuate high and between very warm and very cold. Year round growth of slick stuff. I try to do no harm. I hate the felt ban though. I do feel like it is putting people at risk for injury with no proof that it's helpful.
  5. Before the most recent snow, I heard a water temp of 53' at Redbank on Norfork which makes me think up the Theodosia arm might be very close to that. There is never as much talk about Bull as there is about TR. I haven't been on Bull in a good long while, but that will change soon. I haven't heard boo from anyone about Bull. I did hear there was a wart bite on Norfork. You don't mention where you will be staying, but I would look in the back of Jimmy Creek for White Bass. be Advised it has filled in with gravel in the way back. be very careful. You could also look in Spring Creek, Gooley, and above Theodosia. Again, I have no idea which would closest for you
  6. Bass Cat Boats sells them thru their online store.
  7. NOW WAIT JUST ONE MINUTE !
  8. Very Nice!
  9. DC, I love that weed guard you've got.
  10. In all seriousness, I'd love for them to be found alive. I don't think any remain.
  11. It must have been Dutch. I'll share what I know, but greatly prefer to buy rather than craft my own.
  12. I thought it was the otters.
  13. Yep, jets are Godawful loud.
  14. You're killing me BP.
  15. The Ned rig had better nor screw up my grub dragging and tube fishing.I enjoy those two options too much to lose them.
  16. Great job. You're killing me, but great job.
  17. Geez Dave don't make my competition at the outlet store worse than it is already. Barlow's does have the 3 inch generic senkos in bulk for less than 10 cents a pop. I feel like I can average about 5 fish per bait fish on a LC ball head, but that's still nothing near the longevity of the cut Zero. However , if you are willing to use up stuff you have already in your possession, you'll save a few dollars, but your results may suffer a tad. I've tried to buy the correct JIgheads and the preferred baits. I'm trying remove as many variables as possible and be able to concentrate on the technique.
  18. Hey Kyle I ask about braid and fluro because of potential knotting around the guides. Braid is amazing in its self knotting ability. Fluro is quickly scorched if it lassos a guide and you wind into that jam. I see micros being potentially worst in those regards. I do use P line CX Premium, but I don't use full fluro on spinning. I'm really questioning the value of fluro in most leader applications as well, but that's a separate discussion.
  19. I'm a rank amature, but my ned rig fish are gonna eat plain lead or eat nothing at all.
  20. Well, I'll still use Shimano baitcasters, but unless they are the only company making spinning reels, I'll never fish with a Shimano spinning reel again. I love a good cigarette butt bite on a windy day.
  21. But just be sure to catch and post a picture of every fish you catch or it didn't happen. No picture = no proof. No proof = you're lying. Or so I'm told. KOKO Super Dave. I'm going to give it a try as soon as I can.
  22. Hey Kyle, Do you have a spinning rod custom setup with perfectly placed micro guides? If so, what are the advantages? Have you fished with it much in sub 30 degree air temps? Have you used fluro with it yet? Braid or Nanofil? I hope we can get together and compare notes while we catch a bunch of fish one of these days. I'm always looking for the best gear I can find to fish with. I do have a limit on what I can spend which is higher than Ugly Sticks, but lower than G. Loomis NRX. Millions of fish have been caught on Ugly Sticks and I have been known to catfish with one. Lots of fish caught on G.Loomis, but I generally can't make myself believe they are worth the extra expense.
  23. My next boat will be a 48 inch bottom IF I ever have to buy another trout boat.
