That's great news! its a double edged sword. You heal quicker if you have it done sooner, but the hardware has a finite life. None of the surgeons like doing the revision work. A much more complicated deal with more problems afterwards. my knees are good. I have a heel issue though.

Jig fest 2016 was a great success. I had a great time and got to make so new fishing buddies. The food was outstanding and more than plentiful. i always want the White to be at its very best for the crew to enjoy. The rivers were certainly good, but issues with water releases ( or the lack there of) and at times trashy water made fishing at times a bit of a grind. I know I have been spoiled by Zig Jig fishing. I honestly consider anything less than 10 fish an hour to be kinda slow. There was lots of times I felt like the fishing was slow. the good news is that I fished with Eric P this morning and we caught them good. We fished less than 3 hours and together put 95 fish in the boat. I love Jigfest because it keeps me humble. Good bunch of guys that are a good fishermen to boot. I was able to keep up with Phil and DD. Kris and I were exactly equal in number of fish caught. Johnsfolly caught the fish real good including his first Cuttthroat ever and Eris was a very quick study indeed. He's got it figured out. I catch a ton of trout on Zig Jigs, but that's because I live close and fish a lot. All the guys really catch them on Zig Jigs. I'm pretty good, but I'm not really better than other guys.

well Marty, I don't know about that. I try to keep everybody alive. I really want everybody to catch fish as well. Everybody lived and everybody caught fish.

I've caught 136 fish so far and I have pictures of 2 of them. Lol

I'd like to be to tell I've had a bite. I can control my response time. I won't respond if I don't know I've had a bite.

I would like to think that by spending extra money I would get a lighter rod that was more sensitive and still have the correct taper and rod speed to throw and retrieve crank baits. its a bonus it the rod will multi-task not something I am shopping for in a "wart" rod. i have a couple of Rick Clunn 7 foot square bill rods. They throw great and fight fish well. They could be lighter and they could be more sensitive. I paid less than $60 each so hard to complain. I want to fish that Lews Wart Rod. I have a friend that is an excellent wart guy and he swears by it, but I need to throw it myself.

The tackle tour guys said the guides were better, but the blank was not that great. They fell it lacked sensitivity.

I generally don't ask for gas money. I'll be all gassed up and have a cooler with plenty of waters. Bring what you want for lunch and a snack or two. I'm generally obsessed with catching fish sooooo. I do usually welcome gas money help when I'm in the BassCat. By the time I trailer there and run thru some gas in the boat, I'm generally going to be out a chunk of change. The river is closer and 20 horses eat less than 250 horses.
