And people used to shoot every road runner they saw because they were convinced road runners were why the quail numbers were down. people have no right to kill animals they don’t like just because. If you kill animals out of season, with illegal means, or wantonly waste them that defines you as a poacher.

Weird to be bragging about being a poacher. If I see that happen, I’m going to try to get the perpetrator to answer for it. Really crappy thing to wantonly kill wildlife that you are not harvesting for food.

Do you guys not understand the strain it is placing on hospitals and medical personnel ? Do you not understand that ppl are not able to get needed healthcare for other life threatening illnesses because of Covid ? The longer we just deal with people getting infected tge more ppl die for Covid and from downstream impacts from Covid. Death from Substance abuse are up, deaths from suicide are up, ppl are missing cancer screenings and cardiac checkups. Honest To God it’s a mess and IF more people will get vaccinated we can take some steps in the right direction.

One flaw to the logic of 99.5 % survive is that it isn’t a simply binary of you die or you survive. There is a wide spectrum of severity and a wide variety in length of time to recovery. Some patients are going to be “long haulers” and they might ever get back to their pre Covid health. some survive after weeks in icu. That is worth avoiding.

I guy that dives Bull Shoals told me he sees schools of yellow perch. He didn’t think they were uncommon at all.

The ones I have watched feeding come up to the surface crunching on crawfish.

There is an OA member that targets them way up creeks in the Spring time catching 1/2 dozen or so Nice sized ones. I’ve seen pictures and they looked legit and local, but it’s not my story so that’s all I’m gonna tell.

The truth is always a Good place to start. Man, when it is 16 and you get your hands wet releasing a fish, it’s not pleasant.
