Are bats ever an issue ? I think at some point, you're gonna snag a bat.

TBF, most of the ones I caught have been too small to do much with, but I also rarely catch more than a couple. IF and when I go further north to a Good perch lake, I will try to eat a few of them.

45)) White Tailed Shiner (Cyprinella galactura) I saw this fish swimming around off and on for a couple of years before I caught one. I am still trying to catch one of the Big Ones.

44) Yellow Perch (Perca flavescens) illegally or accidentally introduced into Bull Shoals and now established in the White River via spillway releases. A very pretty perch that is supposed to be delicious ; I still have not eaten any.

I may try some night fishing for them on Norfork, but I’m totes willing to drive to Beaver to whack one.

43) Carmine Shiner (Notropis percobromis) Lifer Crooked Creek has a lot of different species

42) Bigeye Shiner (Notropis boops) the notropis family is maddening as far as identification goes. Very successful group of species that use similar water. will take a small fly

41) Northern Studfish (Fundulus catenatus)

40) Hornyhead Chub (Nocomis biguttatus) I’ve gotten to see a few run down a small jig. They can be Super aggressive. I really like them and the waters I catch them in.

39) Warmouth (Lepomis gulosus) These fish saved the day for me so many times growing up and fishing the bayous of South Louisiana. They aren’t Super common where I fish these days. I’m always Happy to catch them.

38) Logperch (Percina caprodes) I had a bit of a breakthrough with Logperch this year. I have multiple locations where I feel like I can catch them pretty reliably going forward.

37) White Crappie (Pomoxis annularis)

You might type a brief description on the soft plastics so ppl have a better feel for what they would be getting

There are some uncommon and endemic little guys in there too. Also can be a struggle to get them to eat.

I probably need to do what you are doing Dave. I have sold some stuff off and I took a beating one time when I sold some plastics as $45 to your door deal. The dang things were so heavy that the guy basically paid for shipping and got the plastics free. I am a man of my word and I stuck to the deal, but you might want to package them up and know ahead of time what an estimate of the shipping will be so that you don’t get burned like I did.

34) Golden Redhorse (Moxostoma erythrurum) I don’t catch a lot of suckers and I struggle to take the pictures I need to positively ID them. I got plenty of pics of this one and consensus confirmation. Lifer as far as confirmed even though I may have caught one in the past.

At the 3/4 pole, I am sitting at 2303 for fish caught. It won’t be easy, but I think I still have a chance to get to 3000. I had hoped to be past 75 species by now, but my epic failure at Mayo Ditch held be back. I am at 74 species with 21 lifers so far. I did get a Bowfun which was awesome. A moment of complete joy for me. Likewise getting that pike. Zero Benjamin’s so far. Obliviously not going to get that one done, but sitting at 17 50 Burgers so far. I feel pretty comfortable that’s gonna happen. I’ve fished AR, MO, TX, LA, AL, FL, KS, NE so far. I have another trip planned. I will fish in NC again and maybe can sweet talk another quick stop along the way to get to 10 states. COVID 19 made me postpone several trips. man, it’s been a crazy year
