I have been put into purgatory by my wife as far as buying rods and reels go. she actually looked at all the crap I have last week and freaked out!!! she was soo pissed at the shear amount of stuff I have, she thinks I need help. she counted all of my rods and reels and seems to be monitoring me very closely like a cheap little bitch. sorry, I would love a litlle combo like that. i love my Citicas

Mike, I think it depends on what experts you listen to.......the ring of fire if you will that is created by the dome of high pressure will be moving west allowing for a northern flow over us and will make for much more normal temps with good rain chances evry third day or so.....if that pattern sticks. that is a big if, but they Farmers Almanac is actually right in line with most of the very recent models. I hit a couple of creeks this weekend. Luckily for us the fish were responding to the topwater with reckless abandon. I mean these fish were torpedoing the bait like pissed off little bulls and then once hooked were doing some serious jumps. Such a cool adventure, all the fish were caught on topwater and we only waded approximately 4 hours and caught around 45 fish, of which 7 were 14 to 16 1/2 inches. We caught no kicker fish from 18 to 20 but, the dude I was with had one on that was 18 or so, I'm not sure how many really big fish are in this body of water???? but, it's a gem none the less I LOVE topwater days. two at a time....double your pleasure

You'll get one, I'm lucky we get to fish Missouri River and Mississippi confluence. The Alton lock is just a mile upstream and there are big Blues and Flatheads all over the place, you just need to find a countour of at least 5 to 7 feet, then anchor above, which can be a little hairy, and throw them some cut Skipjacks,Bluegill or Asians or a whole Mooneye if you can catch one, they seem to work like nothing else but, they have to be whole. Sure wish I could take you in the Seaark and show ya some nice cats.....not many of my fishing buddies seem to want to chase the monsters???? I know it's a little industrial looking but there is nothing like having a 50 lb blue run you in very thick current like a saltwater fish......I love it!!!! I still like your rodholders, they look cool as hell and the fact that you made them makes them even better.

That is awsome birdwatcher.......that old dude is the man. I'm sure the anti gun zealots will say he could have killed someone when firing at the armed robbers. I say bravo to the old dude and I wish I could buy you a steak dinner and a beer. I know it can be hard to lead those thugs when they are scrambling like that with a short barrle.

Sweet rodholders you make there Junkman.......I have four Monsterrodholders on my Seaark, I put them on after a nice cat tore up a Driftmaster rod holder I had. http://monsterrodholders.com/ they have held up pretty good so far.....I haven't had a 70+ Blue nail them pretty good thus far but, we are waiting. Yours are much cheaper and cool looking, I'm lazy and go buy the Monsters. Do you do more drift fishing or anchored up????

we have only been measuring the Polar sea ice for like 25 years......not long enough to know dung or make any legit hypothesis. In the 20's and 30's there was hardly any ice up there and we were able to navigate virtually everywhere up there in ships. There is an eb and flow to the Polar ice cap it grows and shrinks . The Anarctic ice is as deep as it has ever been which is not very long. My scientist are smarter than yours....or at least the grants they get will make will make them prove what we want them to prove......give me a break!!!!!! and for some of you to say you wouldn't fish with someone because of what side of the climate change discussion they are on is proof positive in my book you are a tool......man I am so lucky I fish with dudes who talk about their kids becoming potty trained and their families. I'm sooo glad we don't argue about this stupid dung or he won't fish with me because of what side of the political fence I'm on

mike, the entrance to the sailboat cove is one of the better white bass spots on the lake usually begining in August....I would suspect a little early this year from the heat and the reports i'm getting. I only fish Carlyle and Rend from my boat unless it's early spring and I'm nailling the spillway run off. Call me we'll go take my Seaark to Carlyle.....I know that lake kinda..... I am really getting ready to start hitting the Mississsppi, Missouri, rivers and Carlyle, Rend and Kincaid.....always do in the dawg days of summer..................................... really wish someone would go float the Gasconade with me

Muddy, not sure why it's a big deal to post something from one site to another??? I met the flapping head Canadians that make these hulls a long time ago and when I saw their vid on Tinboats, I thought I would post it here to get a reaction and well.....you see the comments. You guys freaking out over people running their boat like this are very paranoid!!!! 1) the guys in this video are engineers who helped design the hull and it's exterior shell. they were obviously given a hull to try and see what it could do. this is a very extreme example of jetboating that someone who paid for the hull would more than likely never do. CHILL OUT 2) they filmed this video on a tidal creek on a remote Alaskan Peninsula. i highly doubt any other people were around other than the filming crew and them for several hundred miles. 3)Habercraft makes a kickass hull and are some of the best inboard jets you can buy if you have the cash.....i highly doubt a methhead would be able to afford as you have insinuated and generally methheads don't own jets from what i have experienced but you guys can lable people that run jets all you want.......i figured that would happen. 4) Canoe outfitters with their drunk flotillas do more damage than jetboats to our rivers.......why don't you guys lable them as "methheads"????? if you guys are worried about jet boats, there are a few that can push the limits and you might want to look for FireFish makes a hull that they market as the 4X4 of jet boats see the Snapper on their site it's crazy http://www.firefish.ca/boats.php
