  1. Nice pics of the same fish.
  2. OK, I've sat on my hands long enough, gotta bid. Would you take $100 shipped to 65714?
  3. Mic, I recently read (in Blood Knot Magazine) that paraffin wax dissolved in ether (or similar) has been one of the best fly floatants (and line cleaner/dressing) for decades.
  4. Sounds good. I'm good for the price and shipping.
  5. Ah, bummer. Yeah, not too convenient at all.
  6. If you'd drink more a couple times of year you'd build up a bit of a tolerance and wouldn't wake up in those places...
  7. Everyone else has been commenting on the thread that is in the correct place.
  8. Here is a link that those folks that care more about making a buck than the river could put on their site: http://www.americanrivers.org/our-work/protecting-rivers/endangered-rivers/endangered-ozark.html
  9. Hey bub, just so you know this place is supposed to be PG13. If this thread gets much worse some one is liable to shut it down with a red X.
  10. Lightweight needs to stick to his bud light with the rest of the sissy men.
  11. Looks pretty good. I look forward to your report on the water tightness of the "dry storage area". If you got it for the price listed it looks like a pretty good value compared to the others that have been discussed too.
  12. I read it from e-cover to e-cover within a day or two of the new one being released. I really like all of the new online magazines that are out. Probably because they are free.
  13. The actual "net" part of the net. The either cloth or rubber part of the net. In the case of the Frabill it is rubber and comparable to many high dollar nets. The wood frame isn't anything to write home about though.
  14. You poor poor SOB, you must be getting married, selling all of your man stuff like this.
  15. This, for the price. The net bag is very nice for the price. You can go and fondle one at Bass Pro before you buy even. Also there are a few locals and board members who build very nice nets if you would like to spend some more money on a better looking net that would (IMO) mean more to you since it was handmade locally.
  16. :eating_popcorn:
  17. Someone is suffering from severe Pabst envy today.
  18. Take your fly rod bass fishing and you won't have to listen to these spin fishing heathens.
  19. Not that it will change the number of tickets I am going to buy, but how much would Sweetgrass sell this rod for?
  20. Definitely not a Sasquatch. Had it been a Sasquatch the rocks would've been thrown back. With fine tuned accuracy at that. It's little known fact that the Sasquatch can really hurl a rock and do some damage. Never throw rocks at a Sasquatch.
  21. Yeah Justin, with levels the way they are what will be the best stretch of water to hit with the ol' Hyde on Sunday?
  22. So that'll be Saturday, June 25th right?
  23. There is a beer for every situation. Where applicable PBR cannot be beat. If I am grilling or on the river or playing softball or any other place where I will drink more than 3 brews, PBR is all that. If I am having a beer with a nice meal PBR is not all that and there are several brews I would choose over PBR. Although there are beers that are much cheaper than PBR they simply don't stack up. I did get a nice surprise yesterday evening when I made my Thusday night stop for a 6 pack of 16oz PBR and they were only $4.49. Keep in mind that be it women, cars, fishing or beer. It all comes down to personal opinion. There are people out there who honestly think that Bud Light is the best beer going. They just can't help it.
  24. Amen. Canned < Bottled < Kegged
