  1. Here you go friend: http://m.backcountry.com/outdoorgear/Patagonia-Canyonwalker-Felt-Fishing-Wading-Shoe-Mens/PAT2236M.html?moov_passthrough_type=moov_link_href
  2. Nice report and nice fish! Thank you.
  3. The 3 ninja icon's were used at the end of the comment to indicate a tone of Jest. Like Chief already said he was just ribbing Eric.
  4. That would be greatly appreciated! Hopefully I will have at least landed one before then
  5. I did well! I made it past the spiders before they really spotted me. I think they are probably nocturnal and were still sleeping. I fished for an hour, hooked 4 and failed to bring any to hand. Still trying to get this little creek figured out.
  6. Good on you for helping Fish. Sounds like others just observed.
  7. +1 on this topic. I did pretty well Saturday between 7a and 2p. brought between 25-30 to hand and missed/lost quote a few more. Will post a report with a couple of pics as time permits.
  8. no signs of snakes at upper (I think) Wire Road access or in the city park. I think the big spiders I saw at the Wire Road access must've eaten all the snakes.
  9. Welcome Cory. There are a lot of guys on here from your neck of the woods. I am sure they will chime in shortly.
  10. Oh man what a fish! Good on him!
  11. Hitting Crane again tomorrow after work. I got some bonus/commission money and picked up a few flies I didn't have before and am now equipped for nymphing, dry flies, hoppers n' droppers, and stripping buggers. The question now is where should I start out? One of the wire road accesses? City park? Quail spur bridge? Other place(s)? Has anyone had more success in any one place more than the others lately?
  12. Ooooh ooooh I do! Pick me pick me! It means you can't pursue deer with the aid of a vehicle. Black and white. No cars, trucks, atvs, planes, trains, helicopters, submarines, buggies, bicycles or other wise. Why can't people just follow the rules and obey the law?
  13. Fall with the way inflation is getting ready to kick us
  14. Glad you all had a good time! Where are the pics?!
  15. It is also probably a lot easier to cast without the bulk of those 25 $20 bills in your pocket Nice rod, wish I was in a tax bracket where I could afford it!
  16. Glad the catching was good for you guys!
  17. Were you able to free my tape and can I have it back?
  18. Thanks Tim and OTF. I will look into the mohair leech pattern also. I didn't have the opportunity to add any additional materials or tie last night. Hopefully next week.
  19. Believe you me, if i could get her anywhere closer to the water than dropping me off at Taney before she heads to the Landing I would've spent whatever amount of money on her gear and be using a cane pole myself if that was what it took. She's having nothing to do with any sort of fishing though. I couldn't even peak her interest in the shiny pink fly rods when we were shopping for the TFO I just bought. I keep on bugging her to try it and I did find out that my Sci. Ang. rod will be replaced for $15 under warranty so after it gets back I can use the old well I've got two rods it won't cost any money for you to try it and might get a little further on her. Until then I'm flying solo I suppose.
  20. Thanks for that Chief. I knew it had to be about something very specific that they were blanketing ALL fishing with.
