    Walleye

Woohooo !! walleyes , they should grow well in there
  5. One thing you guys won't have to worry bout is me keeping a Channel , I use to eat them till I ate a blue cat -- I have found the fillets on a Blue are whiter meat and have no yellow fat line in them
  6. Good Lookin' catch -- think I better start dragging some of those Flickers and some Hot-n-Tots
  7. Follow the "Lund boats" around and do what they are doing, lol -- mine is a grey 1775 Classic with a 90 Merck with an Oklahoma tag -- you should see me on the lake all this comming week pull up next to me and I'll show what I do to get'em -- that -- and I have hired a bunch of guides thru the years thats how I got started on eye fishing anyway
  8. Great catch! I'm heading up there on the 17th and looking forward to a week of walleye and crappie fishing
  9. F&F , got out on Beaver at 8:30a fished till 2p , lake wasn't to bad with the tourney or the " hatch" the only frustration I had was --- loosing a keeper walleye at the boat that came out of 20' of water on an orange harness trolled at .8mph , only one of the day and also caught one 14" spot also , that's all I could get -- fishing was tough today but still beat working and was a nice day to just be out
  10. Thanks F&F for the update , I'm gonna' give a try , I'll post a report
  11. F&F , must really be good fishing then to put up with the frustration -- ok , ya' talked me into it , lol -- gonna' rides some waves , yeeeehaaa' ---
  12. Lol, bet it brings a whole new meaning to term "Rock&Roll" --- my last experience on Beaver was last June and it was horrendous to say the least kinda reminded me of Lake of the Ozarks , I was hoping I could catch Beaver just before the "Rock&Rollers" got out of school
  13. Good Grief!!!!!!!!!! thanks guys for the heads up -- I know it's a public lake , but sure would be nice for a laid back guy like myself to find a peacful place ( lake ) to catch a mess of eyes and a crappie or two without the crowds???? , Thanks agin for the heads up on the tourney and boaters
  14. Keep all bass less than 12" and throw back all from 12" to 16" and keep over 16" ---- that's my 2 cents anyway
  15. Thanks F&F -- thought I'd put in at Hwy 12 and fish that Island just N of the bridge then head on up lake hitting points to Fords creek dragging flickers and try a bottom bouncer ????
  16. My plan was to fish Beaver on Saturday, after this "gully washer" anyone have any ideas how it may effect the fishing?? Crappie and Eyes mainly??
  17. Nice ones WM , I'm on my way this weekend to get some
  18. time to get back after those crappie and walleye now that I got my deer meat in the freezer, Thanks for your tips Bob It's a big help to us - greatly appreciated
  19. Instead of teeth they have rocks in there head for grinding -
  20. Bill , your living the dream as far as I'm concerned and can tell you give your clients their moneys worth --
  21. Great job !!! and I'm stuck at work , lol
  22. I fished points N of Twin Bridges and had similar luck with the walleye myself --couldn't buy a bite , caught a few dink bass and a couple blue gill on harness and one 4lb drum
  23. Mike Worley -- one of the ,if not the best on Bull Shoals Lake
  24. I use to fish there behind all the time before the huge changes to the river -- sad that that has happend , looks to me that the gavel around there has become a real problem and is the reason I haven't been back-- I caught some really nice fish there before the gravel bars showed up
  25. F&F , that's been my thinking also -- one reason I started eye fishing , they grow a lot faster here than up north . Here is an example, I fish Stockton a lot and last year I caught mainly short fish April through June, this year I hardly caught a short one during that same time frame -- now there is the shorts showing agin my thinking is the keepers are getting kept and the fish grow through the winter too around here
