  1. I would say defective. It should have lit him up.
  2. To be cool. Sort of like owning a giant offshore boat on LOZ.
  3. As my vet tech daughter would loudly tell ya, a maltipoo, cockapoo, labradorite etc are nothing more than expensive mutts. They are not an AKC registered breed, but some if them are bred well and are very nice dogs. Apparently growing up I (and later her) had a lot of heck maybe they were designer mutts, we just considered them dogs. Only a small percentage of the dogs that got dumped near our house survived the rigorous application procedure to be allowed to live at our house.
  4. In a lot if places the trapper would be short the trap for sure if it was flagged.
  5. Unless they have someone willing to pay $3k it isnt.
  6. I understand where you are coming from and I have had dealings with some agents and a few cops who were to put it midly aholes. I just have never figured it would be a benefit to me to be that guy. Some are happy to talk others simply check you and move on, doing their job.
  7. He actually found it in 2012, didn't say if another one had been found anywhere since then. Still a cool find.
  8. I still have a rod case I made from 4 inch pvc sewer pipe. It worked well, had a plastic case that would hold the reels. Dang near indestructable.
  9. I have never understood that attitude. Whether toward an MDC Agent or anothe LE Officer. Most agents I know would have waded out and at that point EVERY thing had better be legal. There is zero benefit to being a jerk, and much to be gained by simply being polite.
  10. Finally got bandage off of ear last night so thought I would share what they did. Actually doesn't hurt at this point, and if I am careful I can sleep on that side.
  11. Bet it burns worse as it eats its way in. Kind of like compound W.
  12. I have stuck a few hogs during butchering Soni know exactly what ya mean. When my daughter was little she had a lazy eye, so would patchbit every day with a big square band aid. Part of the routine was that she always wanted me to draw something on it first. My art skills and almost non existent but a lady bug or butterfly were easy enough to do. My mind is awash with ideas for drawing on FWs bandage!!
  13. Well that all seems better than one or two visits to dermatologist! I am only out a few hundred as insurance is covering some of it. Of course last night the new bandage on my now skinned left ear decided it had enough and began leaking down my neck, starting an hours worth of gauze pads, paper towels and wash cloths to squeeze out blood and clots before finally getting it to stop. This morning I am stylin.
  14. Well hopefully thus is my last slice and dice for a while. 3 tries and I think they mostly ran out of skin in my ear to remove. Gonna let it heal a couple weeks then see if they want to take some skin nearby and graft it over. I tell ya I am tired of this and ready for some dang fishing!
  15. I am waiting to see the nightcrawlers and red worms come up after a rain. Then I know it's time or past time to be visiting some of my favorite places. Walleye, worms and morels the real trifecta!
  16. Old timers said peepers would get frozen 3 times before spring. Skunks, peepers, and an armadillo the other day.
  17. Nope thats a raccoon wearing a disguise.
  18. DANG, that is at least twice as big as I was expecting. Heck i don't want to garden that much. Concrete blocks to get high enough to put the black mineral tubs on. Do the double tub to make watering easy and man the maters, squash, cukes etc. you could grow in there.
  19. And a good lab to see if you got all of it. Some Dr's are very good at very specific things. Just think though in the amount of time it takes to see if the cream works you could be done and healed up from surgery. Just don't let it slide too far back on the burner for ya or by the time you get back to it, it may not matter anymore.
  20. I just fi ished number 2 and awaiting number 3. The first one was huge actually had two tumers in same spot. Saw the pics before it was all reassembled, could have put a goofball in the hole. Never did the suggestion of anything other than local anesthesia, knife and lots of stitches come up. I truly like my dermatologist, every time I go.in with a concern.it take him about 5.seconds to say NOPE, and then notices a spot that didn't even catch my attention, and says yeah I don't like the looks of that we are.going.to.biopsy it and see. Last time he biopsies 6 and got 2 hits, one each squamous and basal. He is also good about freezing off what he calls barnacles if they are bothering me. Never had him cop an attitude on anything.
  21. Go get a second opinion PLEASE.
  22. I didn't know you could even get curaderm in the US. I have heard about it but don't know much about it. Curious as to what the dermatologist wanted to do that really put you off.
  23. I would think that with a good cutter or more accurately a good stitcher it would be awkward for a bit but should heal up. Might talk funny for a while but who would notice?
  24. The story I have been using is NEVER smart off to your wife when she is in a bad mood AND holding a garden trowel.
  25. Peeled the bandage off this afternoon. Heck.i think they did a good job with it, they were somewhat worried about how it would look, considering what they had to work with I think it came out just fine. Don't reckon I needed all of my ear anyway since I don't listen very well. I hear just fine but don't listen! Weird that both of the major removals came from the right side since I spend a lot of my life driving around, would have thought most would be on left side. Oh well the next one will be left ear. Not much skin there to work on.
