  1. I'm not sure but believe Indain Point is still open.

    jigs

Great looking jig Jim! Interestingly I tie all my jigs with a collar. Here's a 3/4oz fb jig I tied earlier today.
  3. Curious as to the winning weights and turnout? Any feedback would be appreciated.
  4. As the old saying goes "90% of the fish live in 10% of the water and 10% of the fishermen catch 90% of the fish"
  5. Interesting, thanks for sharing. You would thinks its gotta bust loose any day now I hope. Your a good stick so it must be tuff.
  6. Rc is a great bait, very similar wobble to a wart and they hunt deeper. Hope quality improves though, I had several come back without a corner of the bill from banging and 3 filled up with water. Thats never happened to a wart! My buddies have the same complaints. They fix that and add rattles to a version, they really got something!
  7. I completely agree, this year caught lots with rc and they don't have rattles, just hunt and bang deeper that a wart. I remember when I first started fishing the Rock in 81, dad and used crawdad colored deep wee R's and did very well. Never ever used warts intil word got out and was the craze. Also, before 5&6xd strike king cb came out, all of my post spawn, summer deep cranking was with fat free shad or deep little n. If you put a good running cb in their wheelhouse banging and deflecting off rocks or wood a bass reacts and hits it. Imo
  8. Ben, your efforts are tremendous! Can't thank you enough for your work and information it provides! Thanks again for the set up on Stockton!

    jigs

I never use a jig without a trailer, critter craw in water under 65 degrees and twin tail trailer above 65 degrees. That's just my favorite setups.

It's my favorite color year round, brown with 4 strands of purple and two strands of red, add a green pumpkin purple twin tail trailer and I'm confident.
  11. I agree its got to break wide open with these colder nights! Water temperature gets below 60 they should really start feeding heavy getting ready for winter.

    jigs

Great looking jig! I also tie all my jigs and love the ability to choose the exact color I want. I use round rubber exclusively and feel they are more lively with more action. May just be in my head but I believe you fish your best with the baits you have the most confidence in.
  13. Very well acknowledged! When your livelihood is on the line you can not blame these pros. I believe this is the main reason that the Elite series or BASS has eliminated the co- angler, takes the co-angler completely out of the picture! The pros make all decisions right or wrong and don't have a consense to worry about if they gave the co- angler some space!
  14. Champs comments are very commendable and worthy, but huntest makes a great point. These pros have a short window of making it or not. The pressures of producing for themselves, sponsors and family is tremendous. So if it was me in the back, I would fish different depths than the pro with different baits as many have mentioned.
  15. It's maybe your confidence goes up therefor you fish better and concentrate. Almost all fresh water game fish feed just before or during low pressure. Low pressure is usually associated with clouds or overcast. I've been keeping notes for over 20 years and have been much more successful during low pressure cloud covered days. Some of my best days ever have come on nasty rainy windy days. In early spring high pressure sunny days can be awesome, lake temps can increase on north facing banks and bass will feed in the warmer water. My dad always told me best day to go fishing is when you can, so I've been year round during all conditions. Since I've retired and can choose when to fish, I choose low pressure cloudy days with wind.
  16. All the quality fish and most all the fish for that matter are relating to the bottom. Best bait has been 1/2-3/4 oz fb jig in 10-25fow for me. Have only caught a few shorts on squarebill and none burning a blade. Have had a pretty good cb bite, but bait has to be banging the bottom. Has been a weird fall, warm temps lake down a bunch and barely any shallow baitfish.
  17. Thanks for the report, glad you got out and hooked a few!
  18. Interesting, my last 3 trips fish were scattered, granted I don't fish brush piles. And mostly stayed in river out of CC. My last trip was from mutton to dam and fish were scattered. Glad you found some and thanks for the report.
  19. River rats always are players in most tournaments!
  20. Have never throw a soft TW bait, maybe I should give it a go!
  21. Good for her! I'm glad you found s way for her to go and enjoy a day on the lake!
  22. Love your videos, and now especially with some comintary!
  23. Way to hang in there! Is that one every month this year?
  24. Right on Champ, I figured 42 plus but just over 40. As tuff as fishing is someone is always on em!
  25. Just like its always been said "if you can catch em on Table Rock you can catch em anywhere". The Rock will and can humble the best in the world!
