  1. Fished Wed evening and Thursday morning , went from bear den cove to near point 15 looking for crappie , caught 8 6 keepers , wind was terrible , could not get any pattern what so ever few fish near the bank few more in 15 ft tried a few brush piles no takers . Minnow and jig was what we used ,Sorry no water temp , water was very stained , Very few boats in area also for this time of year . 30 to 35 mph guest may of slowed folks down. Heading to Big M area tomorrow see what is going on there.
  2. I know this area is covered by very good fisherman but would like try and post more instead of just taking info form this great forum. started late noon fished 3 hrs water temp 43 . Very windy , My fish came from 20 ft water boat in 30+ all on ned rig , That is all I tryed. These fish was chunky i hope the pic go through (never did pic before) caught 6 one was little over 17 inch. I Found area where water went from 10 ft to 30 ft and they were there. Did not find any fish on the bank and I did try. Anyway my son and I had a great day and that is fun !!

This spring I bought a Humminbird 596c HD the down scan is great But I use the split screen sonar and down scan most of the time anyway , When I upgrade GPS is a must also wider screen , Most of us are not reading this forum on a old 12'' computor screen No the bigger the better , I think same on the water , You should have some options out there for that kind of money , I really like mine , Just a few improvements I will get next time

  12. Bill- I went through this a couple of years ago here's how it worked out on my property . 1. we have a OLD property marker nearest to the water this is obslete now. 2. we have a Take LIne and we do have a corp pin there also at 929.00 ft anything lower than this take line is corp property . 3. then the 936 ft line BETWEEN the 936 line and the take line is my property BUT about all I can do is mow it or put something there that is NOT permenent. SO I have three amaginary lines through my property . April of 2011 the lake got to 935.47 It was unreal and I was sure glad we had nothing below that line. I have heard many bridges are built at the 936' mark don't know that for sure But I do remember folks on here said the water was slapping the 13 bridge.Hope this helps Took me months to get all this straight
