  1. My brother gets em'. Says they're fabulous. I just can't not get the danged ribeye though. Maybe I need to go like four or five days in a row. Then, maybe..........
  2. A new golf ball brand.
  3. Seriously? I feel as though I don't even know you anymore........
  4. Between Steve's crappie catching and your walleye prowess I wanna be friends with BOTH of you! Of course the edge still goes to Ben - he just picks them up off of the sidewalk!
  5. I've been at it for about an hour now and I ain't said it once yet! In fact I think I sprained my tongue a couple of minutes ago. Gonna have to try it though. Gotta say that I didn't even realize that Eureka Springs had a Peruvian community!
  6. Dang! I gotta say I ain't NEVER seen crappie that shallow! Just bend down and pick em' up! Think of the money saved on tackle! Almost look like speckled flounder! Way to go Ben!
  7. Man, that's quite a bit more than we got. Heckuva lot prettier too!
  8. We had breakfast there a few years ago prior to playing golf and it was fantastic. Also had burgers for lunch another time and it was equally good. Kind of forgot about it!
  9. Always wondered about that place. Need to check it out I guess!
  10. I think you'd like it. Not an overly extensive menu (although they typically have walleye and it's one of the few places I've been that serve quail), simple salad bar - not overly fancy by any means but still a nice atmosphere. Jeans and t-shirts are pretty common. I gotta admit that to this day the ribeye is the first and ONLY thing I've ever ordered there (in my opinion it's just that good) but everything else looks great as well. We've been going by there for about twenty years now and it hasn't changed a bit. We even drove over there from the metropolis of Eureka Springs after we got married (kind of like Vegas south to us) for our wedding dinner! Pretty exciting drive in fog by the way. Everybody that I've sent over there has been pretty impressed.
  11. I sure like your view better than mine!
  12. Well, no rain here but this is my backyard.
  13. Yo! Gonna need another beer over here to put out these flames!
  14. I hate it when I do that.
  15. I have now written down this information so as to not "mis - remember" come next month! Not sure why it never occurred to me to just shoot you a text and ask but I guess ignorance comes standard with the mis - rememberin' starter kit!
  16. My country bumpkin self had to look up Peruvian potato and cheese sauce. Dang, that stuff sounds really good!
  17. I'm sorry to have to say this but the reason you're tired is a direct result of having kept your mind and hands busy! Now, eliminating that won't necessarily mean that you won't be tired but it WILL eliminate at least one of the reasons!
  18. Might be the single biggest advantage or being retired. Going to work is NOT an option! Temptation eliminated. Hope you accomplish something worthwhile to make up for not being able to fish!
  19. And some of the biggest crowds, longest waits and most congested parking I've ever seen as well! We always try and time our visits over there but we find it to be worth the wait.
  20. I have not but certainly will if you recommend it! We thought that the "normal" barbecued meats were just OK (we're horribly spoiled though) but really like the chicken. Been wanting to check out the BBQ and burger place that Dave recommended but can never remember which one it is when we're actually there. I know it's a ways over there from the Kimberling area but we try and make it over to The Steak Inn at Shell Knob once or twice each year. It's one of the few places around (even in Kansas City) that I'll order a steak cause I've always believed I can make a better one at home than they can in a restaurant. However, the ribeye at The Steak Inn is as good as I've had anywhere including home. Kathy really likes the prime rib too.
  21. "Call sign 'Charlie'."
  22. Or The Landing. Some of the worst food on the planet. We occasionally go to the Fish House at Bass Pro and like the fish n' chips although some will tell you that that place sucks too. I'd rather take an alley whuppin' than ever go back to the Joe's Crab Shack down there. My sister in law insisted a couple of years ago and I'm still having nightmares and hallucinations about that place.
  23. Great smoked chicken!
  24. Phil and Bill must still be in bed or the derailing of this thread would have been locked up and deleted a long time ago!
  25. "Oh, I'm sorry. I hate it when it does that."
