Is there anywhere at the landing to dock a boat and go up to the restaurantside for lunch or dinner?

Good wade fishing river access near Fenton
Jeff Maberry replied to Tobey's topic in General Angling Discussion
I have been there a couple times, you do have to walk a little bit from the parking lot to get to the water.there is usually a few people swimming close to the trail but a little walk up or down and it is usually pretty quiet. -

We decided to try getting some kayaks to fish out of (wife and myself). I got the ascend H12 and wife got a sun dolphin ss10, we went to council bluff lake to try them out for the first time and decided to leave fishing equipment in the tahoe until we got used to the kayaks. My wife did a surprise safety check on how life jackets work while first getting into her kayak it worked great, I was to smart to laugh at her thinking I would never get her back out in one again. So we traveled around the edge of the lake for a little while and she had all kind of trouble trying to go in a straight line, we used double and single paddles the single was better for her. The ascend H12 did excellent easy to paddle, real stable and has a 450lb weight capacity which is one of the reasons I went with it, so back at the dock the wife tried out the ascend and she had no problems with stability or tracking so we will be getting another one soon. Next trip I will bring the poles and not be worried about floating my hat.

New Boating Attraction On Taney Safe?
Jeff Maberry replied to Phil Lilley's topic in Upper Lake Taneycomo
I believe that if a boat causes wakes that do damage to docks or other boats that they are financially responsible for it, if they cause a wake to swamp canoes kayaks and other boats, docks etc. They should be charged immediately to cover these and is there a law about driving to fast when you are withenot a certain distance of other boats especially non moter iced vesselshave some cameras ready and turn them in. If they are forced to slow down it would not be a problem, they would not be as fun as going fast if you are into that but just because a company wants to make a profit for their selves should not mean that everyone else should have to give up what they want to do -

I do not like the sound of this at all, if they was to put it in Table Rock that would not bother me there is plenty of room there. The wakes from a boat like this will do a lot of damage to everything on the water -

June 1 2008 we were fishing on big River about two miles up river from Washington state Park. Done fishing for the day about 2: pm and we headed back to the ramp just fast enough to be on plane and ran into a car that someone dumped in the river, it must have been there for years but this was my first and last time on big River in a boat
