Dig the fly! Nice choice in vices!

I was asked to put together a step by step of my winter trout swap fly. I wanted a stonefly that was easy to tie, and caught fish. This is what I came up with and I know at least BBT had some success on it too. 4 ingredients other than thread and lead. This is on a size 8. Dubbing, biots, swiss straw and hackle.

That's not the point. They have permission. Others don't.

I don't have glitter boat envy. But It's the people Who fished Big boats Who couldn't follow the rules that made it this way in the first place. Don't blame the people Who only have access to small craft that the rules are the way they are.

I would assume so to keep one. Not to catch it though.

Some of the guys Who share our dock Down by old 86 troll for them by the dam. I know they run downriggers for them and troll with flat fish. Right around the dam area. They have brought some Big ones back, even in the middle of summer.

I'm all for safety and everything but this is probably why your not allowed to have them on the first place. I know you said you only fire up the big motor if a storm is brewing/for safety purposes but doesn't that put you at an advantage that people are following the rules don't get? Plus while your trying to be safe and get off the water, others aren't afforded that luxury and you could be endangering them even more. I personally don't care if you put on with a big motor as long as you don't use it under any circumstance. If you're going to plan ahead like everyone else, and don't put your boat in if you'll be tempted to use your big motor for some reason.

My thing about it is this. ESPN probably asked for permission to film him getting the call in the instance he got drafted, like they do with a lot of other prospects at their homes, or there at Music City. How many of those that were straight kissed their significant other? A lot. They even showed a proposal from one of the draft picks that day. Should he not be able to show some affection to his significant other the same?

Ham they May have ranked him higher but holes on their team dictated taking someone else. Sam produced on the field, Where it counts. It drives me crazy when guys post good combine numbers and their stock is boosted, Why did they physically not perform better, against inferior competition... and somehow are going to playing the best of the best.

I've been fishing them, but have mostly been bassfishing, so I haven't thrown most of the trout stuff yet. I believe it was Me who tied the stonefly, unless someone else tied one as well.

I'm pretty sure bass pro does rides out there in boats with permission.

Beat me to it. I'm surprised honestly that the Chiefs didn't grab a receiver, I guess they are confident in what they have got. Reid supposedly is really liking AJJ. I like the draft. A lot. Games are won in the Trenches, Seattle proved it. We grabbed another raw, but talented corner. Deanthony Thomas is going to surpass Dex's stats this year, and if not then next for sure. Combine that with Dressler and we have a lot of speed. Unless Knile is back to completely healthy we could have used someone else too to spell some snaps for Jamaal. The two linement we drafted are studs too, and at one point Fulton was even mocked to go in the second Round. LTD is the top prospect out of Canada, and is expected to be drafted number 1 in their draft next month. Big dude who is a freak athlete. And it's not like Ford wont see the field. He isn't as big as Allen Bailey or Big Cat but Bailey has shown he can't rush over the last three years and Cat hasn't been given a chance yet. Sure they are ends in the 3-4, but mixing up looks they will find ways to get Ford on the field rushing.

I can't see them not grabbing at least a pair. Unless they are confident in dressler and Hemingway.

I'd put money on Manziel being a stud. Chiefs wise, I'd like to see them move out of the first, grab a second and a fourth, or an early third and something. The drop off between receivers when your looking 5 deep from the 6,7,8 guys won't be that Big. Moncrief could be a sleeper, and Jordan Mathews out of Vanderbilt will be a stud I think. Then you have Abbredairis (spelling) Who could also make an impact. Personally I'd still like them to make Lee out of USC happen.

No. I'm sure there are some, but if you hold out for a 140 you May have some real slim pickings.

The peak rut is usually right around opening of rifle season. Don't expected many bucks walking around that would go 140 especially of your hunting public land. Best bet would be to get away from the easy to access spots if possible.

Was a good one. Bagged a bird early and was out with him cleaned before 8 am. I had birds around me all morning. He came in with three other Toms and was the unfortunate victim of getting shot. The moon this morning was incredible, I didn't even have to use a light to get everything set up and heard gobbles before I was even finished setting up, which was around 530. I had my decoys a little closer than I thought so when those four birds crested the hill/ridge I was hunting I took my shot early after seeing the beard and this boy strutting around and what I counted was 32 yards. Not even a flinch from him. I guess there are worse things to be thinking about when you go! Drumsticks for dinner tonight!

If he gets on a small school somewhere he will go in the first. That's solely based on his measurables. Remember Dez Bryant? Had all sorts of issues and now the Cowboys send a body guard with him EVERYWHERE because he beat his momma and he is thriving in the league.
