Not really textured. You can feel where the pattern on them is, but I think its just the paint. Being bigger they do catch a lot of water and wiggle though for sure. Not quite as limp as your standard legs.

Magnum sili legs from hareline. I dont know that they are actually for sale yet. They are about twice as long and at least twice as wide as a standard silicone leg. They are pretty sweet. 1 strand was used for both sides of that fly.

Just to much work to make it worth thr trouble I think. unless I find a trove of freshly squished pine squirrels that had nothing but their head run over I'm not going to spend the time or money on something that can be had fairly affordably already.

Over on flyfishfood they have been throwin down some pretty slider flies. I gave one a go. I'll definitely turn a few more of these out.

Something my accounting teacher taught us. they want you to have some balance without going overboard. they dont make money on interest if you pay your loan off super early. what she told us was to go to a bank. Get a small loan. put money in the freezer. use that money you borrowed to make the payments. the little you pay in interest will be worth it in the long run to increase your score and set your self up in the future.

It's been like this for a few years, and I doubt they change it this offseason. If they were to change this in any way I'd rather them take a look at it as it applies to loose balls. If a player is running with it, bobbles it, gets tackled and it pops out after they have been tackled to the ground it is a fumble, even if they have regained possession after the ball was bobbled. Dumb, dumb rule all around though, even the part about catching it. The thing with the NFL anymore is there are so many rules and they are so convoluted that it makes it tough on the officials, who are not even full time employees. Like the fact that a ball has to reach the goal line mentioned above, and anything else after is irrelevant.. Except when you make a catch, land on the ground, and then the ball comes out, even if you have made the catch, secured the ball, and landed with the ball in the endzone.

My Solarez light quit on me after a while. The solarez resin is good, but prefer something with a better applicator, and will usually come in a bigger tube. I've heard nothing but good things about the loon UV.

A lot of rainbows will get an orange streak at their jaw without actually breeding with the cutthroats. I doubt there are many, if any at all actual hybrids in the river there. I know I have seen people say they caught cuttbows or actual cutthroats in taney when there really aren't any.
