Skid plates were factory installed 20 years ago. Part of a 25% of retail deal with Wenonah, Alpine Shop, & Missouri Smallmouth Alliance. These have not been used much.

Look neat, but still a stocker frankenfish. Stock em in a landfill if you must stock them anywhere. I can’t believe that Arky stocked them.

Like the American Fisheries Society’s Facebook Page, They do a “What is this Bass Wednesday” post every once in awhile. Lots of hybrids to ID. I like to catch em all, and I want to know what they are.

Fisher folks are pretty ignorant when it relates to species. The term I hate most is "Meanmouth". Utter that term, and you are in my idiot camp. There are at least a dozen bass species in the USA, and there are hybrids of many.

Dry the rattles out, and toss em in the sound hole of your acoustic guitar. Live reptiles smell like hell. Rotten reptile flesh, smells even worse than rotten fish.

Sweet...biggest one I ever saw was under the 34 Bridge near Sam Baker State Park. I here that the snake road in S. IL has a bunch of them. They close it for migration twice a year.

It gets better Mitch, we like our Liberal professors across the street. They make me think about things I never thought about before, and sometimes they are right. Biden should be in a Skilled Nursing Memory Care Facility already. He’s a Trojan Horse until the DNC picks a VP puppet for him. My liberal dem college professor neighbor’s (who we like allot even if we disagree) do not like Biden, not one little bit.
