About 15ish years ago it got super low to the point that almost half of owl creek didn't exist. I don't remember the exact year or level though. I'd like to see pics of it. I'd kinda like to see it again actually. I'm not sure but this may be the time the guy made the videos of the entire lake.

This won't help your problem of breaking transducers but you can run a y cable and have two transducers. One shoot thru for 2d and down scan and the other lead goes to the side scan transducer on the transom.

I'm all about the cables but I want to use an electric steer trolling motor sometime. Just to see.

Exactly what Bill said. I prefer motorguide mostly because of the button. I also prefer the metal pedal, smaller/lighter motor, and direct feel of the motor guide. Just my preference but I wouldn't say one is better over the other.

I hope we get more than two serious competitors for the same reasons you said fnf. For one the prices are just stupid, the operating systems aren't what they could be, and the options or changes that people have been asking for could be made. I know this is apples to walrus' but compare the price and function of the latest and greatest iPad to the latest and greatest graph manufacture of your choice. The potential in technology is amazing right now, even at a more reasonable price. They sell them though so....

I think it would be fun to play with the mapping but goodness, 1' increments is hard to beat. I may try it sometime though.

The coverage of navionics just hasn't impressed me. BUT I'm talking about the lakes I primarily fish, Table Rock, Grand, and Stockton. I imagine navionics is a better card for certain lakes. The card I posted is the newest card for that region.

I apologize for the bad pics. I could do screens but I was in a hurry. I was disappointed to see that beaver isn't hd yet on lakemaster. It has 3' increments rather than 1'. It still looks good just not as much as say the table rock map for example. I have the red set at 6' and the green at 20' I believe.

The only bait like this that I would think would benefit from this design is a jerkbait. Even then I wouldn't bet on it.

I saw the same thing. The only place I didn't was right at the dam. I did see it at mile long bridge. Some current would help that lake some.

I guess that aquapalooza was going on too. I'm glad I went to stockton which was plenty busy for me. Did you catch any suspended fish? I usually can get a quick limit fishing for suspended dock fish but they just don't weigh enough.
