  1. Lol!
  2. Yea that is cool for sure. I'd love to see some east of the Rockies boys do some whoopin out there. Every time a western guy gets in the top 5 we have to hear about how great they are.
  3. This ad was killing me. I badly wanted to sell my 798 to buy this but knew time was to short.
  4. Sold. Thanks OAF.
  5. Sold. Thanks OAF.
  6. I'm disappointed. I know why they go north but I'd really like to see them do some Midwest/southern hot weather tournaments.
  7. Pending
  8. I'm not real sure why I'm putting this up. Boredom I guess. It's a fantastic reel. It is phenomenal with weightless plastics, pitching, or any other technique that needs quick spool start up. Plus it looks awesome. It has a few chips that have been touched up so they're difficult to see. I wanted you to be aware though. I'm asking $275 shipped. I'm not totally sure about trades but if I did it would be for other lefty daiwas or maybe maybe maybe Lews. I also thought about a gopro but that's also up in the air. Maybe trade for multiple reels? Money is preferred though obviously. I like t3 platform reels and steez's mostly.
  9. Works great but I want a lefty in its place. Would trade for a ballistic, tatula, maaaaaaybe a Lews. $100 shipped.
  10. Just let us know when you catch one with a buzzard in its gut.
  11. I actually think its cool. It's an organized event in a section of a lake rather than a rich drunk idiot plowing water all weekend.
  12. Freaking wow! That just got weirder the more I read. To bad the owner wasn't carrying.
  13. Here's a terrible pic of the ghost pearl I received.
  14. The props add resistance so they can be reeled slowly without them sinking.
  15. Yea but I didn't know which type of sonar you were wanting to know how to locate fish.
  16. I'm not a cranking expert by any means, at all. That said June is when it seems they do the most damage. Seemingly anyway. I'm curious what people that actually know what they're talking about will say.
  17. What is your max price range? I'll keep my eyes peeled.
  18. Are you talking 2d or si? There are several tutorials online by Doug Vahrenberg that are useful. Another option is bassboatcentral.com has a good humminbird section.
  19. I think you're right. I saw zero schooling activity this weekend. Just one here and one there. I was to busy with a big worm and square bill to mess with throwing the spy bait. Not that I was hauling them in but I was learning a new area. I think it's got potential as a bridge bait too. I want to try the 90 and gfix on 8lb flouro using baitcasting gear. Zipping it around docks and cedars could be a good thing at times.
  20. I threw the duo realis 80 this weekend some. I never had a great opportunity to use it the way others have been. I was in dirtier water than these were designed for most of the time. It's a neat bait though and I will be keeping it on hand to learn more about it. It casts like a rock too.
  21. Hackney is just gonna kick some butt this year.
  22. I 2nd what mixer said.
  23. Btw mine isn't fancy. Just the cheapo duo realis 80.
  24. I am at our friends cabin now on the rock. This weekend will determine if I buy more or give mine to my kids lol. I'll report back an opinion Monday probably.
  25. Hydraulic is lots safer and easier to drive. If you can do it I highly recommend it.
