  1. I can't beat him but I might as well show them off. I actually value my Rebel collection as much or even more than my warts. I don't understand why everyone is so hung up on the wart other than price. I found some Rebel deep wee r's in a $1.96 box at walmart just a few days ago. They will flat out catch fish in the spring and no one shows them any love at all. For those of you doing well on a rockcrawler try a Rebel Deep Mini or Maxi R.
  2. Are you saying it's almost Red Fin time?
  3. I hate high water...my best fishing in the creeks is always around 912.
  4. I saw it yesterday as well...obviously a menace copy. I'll be getting some because of the great price.
  5. One more of those Lake Ozark cruisers heading south on 65 this afternoon.
  6. Rowland was up in the Indian point area fishing dirty water that was running in as well. Anybody remember Brent Long's FLW win up Long Creek in the dirty water? http://www.flwfishing.com/news/2012-04-01-a-wrong-turn-gone-right
  7. As are most in the BBC lounge!
  8. No kidding!! I find the wart bite to be outstanding for about 3 weeks when the water temp is around 48* - 52*. When the water temps rise above 52* for an extended period of time I think the wart/crawdad bite tends to slow considerably and the fish start back on a shad diet almost exclusively.
  9. +1....only reason I'm not attending. Have fun guys!
  10. Those double weed guards are very stiff. My nephew was trying them out a couple weeks ago.
  11. Looks like you've already found one of the best spots....right here on OzarkAnglers.com
  12. A Basscat Eyra and an old narrow beam Champion 202 with the exact same setup would be a good race for sure. I'm a little biased but I'd take bets on the Champ.
  13. Darn it Bill...I get one bite and before I can get him even close you go and cut my line. You couldn't even wait to knock him off with the net.
  14. Nitro believes performance is not just top end speed.... So what is it they perform well in? Not a knock...just curious as how a nitro out performs....say a Basscat?
  15. Put a Comfortroll in my 1996 202 champ and absolutely love it. I like that it's aluminum and rounded in the back.
  16. I might as well throw my numbers out there. 1996 Champion 202 w/ a 2005 Yamaha 200hp 3.3 HPDI, 8" rapid jack running 25 pitch tempest prop w/ shaft 3" below the pad. Fully loaded running 71mph GPS at 5750 rpm. Just purchased a 225 ECU and can't wait to get it hooked up. Hope to get my rpms up to 6 grand.
  17. Barlows may be good online but never go to their actual store in Richardson, TX. I went last year and was very disappointed. They had very little on the showroom floor.
  18. R&B Auto Trim in Nixa. Talk to Lynn..Outstanding work and reasonable prices. She repaired my Champion boat seats and they now look brand new.
  19. Those that disagree with you are labeled haters? Same thought as those who disagree with Obama are labeled racists.
  20. If you would learn how to make a positive comment on a post without throwing in your stupid side digs like you did again here you could gain a lot more credibility.
  21. and opinions are like assholes....everybody has one.
  22. I would love to try one of these ZMan Toobz in 3" PB&J. I'm not sure they will have that length or color. Right now Tackle Warehouse only carries 4" in pearl.
  23. I've been making my own gopher style heads with a weed guard. No collar and glue is ok but I can't stand the super glue in the boat. Started pouring them with a small homemade wire keeper that works just as good if not better in my opinion.
  24. Saw a herd of elk down there on Saturday. 7 cows and 1 small bull. Fishing was terrible but enjoyed being out. 23 degrees to start out that morning and the turkeys were gobbling their heads off.
