  1. I might have had sore arms but now I got happy belly
  2. lmao, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you keep loosing them lol....
  3. ACE is not in the business of making great Fishing Lakes, heck NO water district I know of makes fishing a top priority. Wish list would have been for them this year with low water to lower the lake by generation even more and then bring in loads of dirt and create flats, IMO nothing is more productive then flats for spawning fish, feeding areas and vegetation growth. There are several areas on Beaver this could easily have been accomplished and aided in fish production. But then ACE would have to not all for sever water fluctuation during the spawn and try to maintain ( within mother natures temper ) a constant water level. I know it will never happen but sure would be nice. Like I said Trophy " Many ecological factors " Even the Big O had some seriously bad times ecologically.
  4. Your the one hogging all the crappie lol. Told ya the stripers were there lol. Walleye and whites I swear look at your Lure and laugh saying I know its Wilson.
  5. Im hoping someone else got lucky tonight and someone else duplicates my day tomorrow... My livewell was starting to get crowded lol
  6. I am sure the rain helped, Its raised the lake enough so that when the wind blows its creating mudlines off of points and that is where the shad were feeding and the Whites were all over them the Walleye were all over the area flat. Rod Cats I would be going to the Back of Prairie Creek or back of Montne the run-off should be flushing all kinds of goodies in there for the kitties.
  7. I wont give the location as someone else might get to go fish the area tomorrow but will give it tomorrow night BUTTTTTTT 310 white bass, 10 stipers, 37 Bass, 28 walleye..... Duane no telling please
  8. south shore sounds like a wraping wind from the southeast, I see it form like that with a good wind the wraps around the ramp and down to the back. There was a great high definition mudline at 12 bridge today. tomorrow should be a good day
  9. Sighhhhhhhh, Champ I know you don't like stripers but as stated before all the science contradicts any argument about stripers negatively effecting Bass population remember this thread and I know there is another where the I posted the top 100 bass lakes and many of them had stripers and yet still produce large bass and big tournament weights. Beavers bass issues could never be related to trotlines left for days at a time, jug fishermen who leave them out several days at a time, fluctuating water level during spawning times, tournament after tournament during spawns, cover and I can go on. Beaver is tough on the fish and fishermen and has many ecological factors going on beside stripers. Heck how about the Walleye or Bluegill predating on the young bass even.
  10. Bigfoot watching platform
  11. Duane sucks.... That is all lol
  12. I know not of what you speak will PM you.

  15. After last years May freeze Ive been holding off as well Quill. I have everything ready but I don't want to lose the Beafsteaks my dad sent me from Cali this year. Only so many seads left from grandmas garden.
  16. 3.5'' in my gauge downtown area. back yard is 1'' deep in water. Buddy in F-ville said his gauge said 4.25'' this should make for interesting lake level rise over the next couple days. Now where will the mudline be???
  17. Yes sir....seen many of them
  18. Champ, Stripers are fun lol. But I actually search out the prey sources more than the game fish. If I can find the prey I can find a predator. I am opportunistic when it comes to fishing and try and find whats biting more than one specific species. Kinda like the smallies this year I went out one day wanting stripers I found them but also knew the big smallies were biting and those little bulldogs made me give up on stipers and run down to them. I knew they were keyed in on a crawfish pattern and had a blast. But im weird I guess in the reason I knew that was after catching a few I went in shallow and started rooting around to find out why they were there. Its the Herpetologist in me wanting to know WHY. I do that a lot find something and want to know why, even in hunting when I find birds constantly in an area I just got to know why they are lol.
  19. lol doc, You know your welcome in the boat anytime but I throw the net lol.
  20. Champ, I would say there is a very good food base in the lake. Sunday I marked over 300 shad balls from HSB to 12 Bridge that were showing on side scan an average of 20ft wide x 30ft deep. Combined with the numerous small bluegill and minnows ive been seeing I think Beaver is one of the healthiest lakes as far as prey sources I have seen in many years. I know most if not all those balls were threadfin as I would occasionally need more bait and go visit them with the cast net. Gizzard shad are also doing extremely well IMO its not to difficult to find them in shallows and the size range from 3'' to 12''.
  21. Constitution has nothing to do with this! But if you want to take it to that level I support the Arkansas law which says
  22. Na Chief, I'm tired of people telling others what to do and it came to a head last week. I stopped off to fish little sugar for awhile near the BV Golf course and watched a kid about 12 to 14 catch a real nice smallie and decided to keep it only to listen to 3 other anglers all adults chew into him for putting it on the stringer to the point I walked up and told them leave the kid alone before I called AGFC for harassment. People seem to think I only fish Beaver when the fact is I fish all types of places I know conservation but I also know the law and personal opinion needs to be kept in check not forced on others.
  23. Why not stay at Phils Place, its not that far from the dam?
  24. Truer words have never been spoken.
