Nope I don't, I have seen players in all sports extremely stressed physically and mentally. People put way to much on football because it is the most popular sport in most respects. I have been to a few soccer games talked to a couple of players and they will tell you it is very stressful on the bodies and one thing some say is more stressgful worrying about being beat up by fans. not to much worry for football players about fans rioting.

I hope your right that would be good, but I think TCU is in and Ohio out and that IMO would be a shame Ohio really earned it talk about overcoming adversities that team could win it all IMO.

If you are looking for shad on Beaver its a no brainer right now White River from Hickory creek up both arms they are all over... Problem is they are deep, getting them is a little more difficult but 5 #10 to 14 treble hooks with a weight at the bottom of the line and them spaced above it every foot you could snag a few just be gentle when doing it.

I hated the call when they started it last year, it affected to many games and many were in no way "targeting" This year they put it to replay which IMO it needed to be. At game speed things happen and may or may not be intentional but Ray also did it last week against AR and got away with one. I am not saying he is a dirty player but this might be the call that makes him think twice as it has many players. He hit a defenseless player and that is when IMO this call needs to be enforced. I do not like seeing it called on players who have the ball and are running and when they know contact is coming lower themselves, that should be reversed as mutual contact and hope they revise the rule for next year for that situation. This rule needed more thought put in it before implementation.

But Teacher I told him exactly where to go and even drew him a map with precise GPS and bait to use. I cannot help if he went wee wee first and didn't wash his hands and the fish smelt it.

Al, I Have played Hockey, Football, Baseball and Basket Ball.... Hockey and football in leagues and I would NEVER having played both say football wears more on your body. Hockey typically it was a Wend night game and a Saturday plus practices. Get hit with a few pucks and stick plus slammed in to the glass or ice and tell me it doesn't wear on your body. All sports wear on you and cuddling anyone who chooses to play one is silly, they know what its going to be when they sign up. As to my tie-breaker idea it was only that an idea but damit let them play it out let the teams decide who is best at the end.

OTF, I hear this argument all too often and I want one person to give me a reason other than PAY as to why they should have a shorter season when the following are for other college sports Basketball = 30 to 45 depending on playoff Baseball = 45 to 60 depending on playoff LaCrosse = 21 Wrestling = 32 is best I could find but could be more or less a little depending on college Hockey = 35 Now all those are sports where there is a potential to go pro and earn money Basketball, Baseball, Hockey for certain should we decrease all of them?

Wayne they could introduce the schedule in April for each Conference based off strength of schedule from last year for each conference. There is no perfect solutions with so many teams its impossible, the more popular ( tv play ) a conference gets especially on a national level the more people will want to go there and that is one reason the SEC is so Dominate. Players want the best chance to go PRO and high exposure sure helps. If I was a high school athlete and had a dream of the NFL I would go to the Bama's Auburns, Lsu's of the College level and stay clear of UAB'S for certain. I Hate computers they are in enough of our lives and having some things they are no part of is not a bad thing. Beside even a computer could make a mistake and the fans would be still mad. It has to be head to head and let them fight.

We have a working model for it right now, this is how it would work, as Arkansas is Western and Missouri is Eastern I will use them Each team would play 3 teams in their division twice and 3other teams in their division once and 3 other teams from the conference once. Arkansas would play ………………………………………………………….Missouri would play Week 1- LSU ………………………………………………………………….. Georgia Week 2 - Tamu ………………………………………………………………. Tenn Week 3 - Alabama …………………………………………………………. South Carolina Week 4 - Miss St…………………………………………………………….. Florida Week 5 - Georgia…………………………………………………………… Tamu Week 6 - South Carolina……………………………………………….. Best two teams Play in Championship and no more Atlanta it is played at the higher ranked schools stadium AKA Home field advantage. This should also be how the 8 team playoff would be done. Week 14 – SEC v ACC Round 1 of Playoffs Week 15 – SEC plays Pac12 winner Week 16 – NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Now I understand much realignment would have to be done as there are 128 current teams. That would force each Conference to go to 16 teams each. It would put it at 14 games regular season, 15 would be Division Championship, and week 16 would be playoff round 1. Week 17 would be round 2 of playoffs. Weak 18 would be off week. Week 19 or 20 depending how new-year fell would be the National Championship. So 20 weeks starting 1st weekend closest to September1st, Week 20 or National Championship to be played New Years Day 7pm Eastern time. Game to be played in an NFL Stadium to be moved each year. We play currently 14 games to get to the NC game now 15 including it. A true playoff every game means something would only put it at ONE MORE GAME for 16. It takes Committees, Polls, Computers, Psychics, Martians, Klingons and the Mighty Starfleet out of it and would even be Yoda Approved I suspect.

There is now way in Hades I would ever want a computer to pick who should or should not be in a playoff. Computers though they may be impartial and emotionless are not the solution. Only true way to do it is to create 8 conferences and let them fight it out.. Take the computer, the polls, the speculation everything out of it and let them fight for it.

December 4th 2014 Not many reports coming in with the Holidays and opening of Modern Gun for Deer and Waterfowl openers combined with our lovely weather. There is a good bite on Striped Bass, Hybrids and White bass when you can locate them. Starky has had some action as has the river from 12 bridge up to the War Eagle and White River arms. I went out twice fishing the last week, I tried Rocky Branch one day and found nothing, I did see some bait and fish in Prairie Creek but no takers to verify the fish. Yesterday I got out with a Yakfm and we found an abundance of bait in the river and managed two stripers, numerous whites a hybrid some bass and unbuttoned to papermouths trolling flicker shad #7’s in Pearl White. 4 Team playoff is a joke there is right now 8 teams I can see with an argument to be in a playoff seat. Bama Missouri Miss st Georgia TCU Baylor Ohio St and this pains me but Louisville All those teams have played difficult schedules and could make a case for deserving a chance to play for a shot.

Good to hear, and I hope we all can get to 91. As to the whites those are nice big fish and plenty that size running around on Beaver. I personally wish they would stop stocking the Hybrids as great as they are to catch most people cannot tell them from whites and its a waste of money IMO. concentrate more on the Walleye or Crappie I would say.

Its the truth, Unless either team is in the play-off picture they will either be in a bowl or not by this time, the odds of either being in a potential play-off picture under the current format is pretty low ( this can apply for any school ) A 6-6 team shouldn't be in a Bowl which proves that College Ball is very much about money money money. This is how it has been as long as I can remember, I seldom watch any but the big 5 bowls and typically only the NC and Sugar. I will watch Arkansas if its in a bowl but only if I am not hunting or fishing that day. Unlike regular season where I will hunt or fish in the morning to be home to watch the game in the afternoon, as many fans do. Now if they ever decide to have a true play-off be it 8 or 16 teams most people only will watch and care about watching their team one last time and don't really care if its the Construction Out-house Bowl or The "Sponsored by Septic Rooters Bowl" they will watch their team that last time. But ditch all but the big 5 bowls and make it worth something and the audience would be much higher and then all games to the end would have meaning. Under that scenario Neither Arkansas nor Mizzou would be in a playoff situation. Under a Play-off scenario it would be for the SEC Title Bama v Miss St if you look at the Rankings right now as the two best teams in the Conference would play. Then they would go on to play the Winner of say the ACC in round 1.

I NEVER SAID Arkansas was a powerhouse I SAID a forced rival against an Eastern School is STUPID AS IT COMES.... The last game of the season should if at all possible be against a school in your division and conference. That means far more than this made up rivalry they even named the Battle Line, seriously what little fairy came up with that.
