lol at Phil, it was cool to read the thread from the beginning and see where we were at 6 years ago with TV Tech and where we are today. I just had my system completely upgraded and have a DISH, I have 4 tv’s in the house and were you use to have multiple wired boxes today I only have 2 the other two are wireless which is real nice because I can pick them up and take them anywhere is range of the main box. This has made working on the boat much nicer and having them outside on nice evenings to sit back in the yard is even nicer. All four Tv’s are HD and through the dish even with wireless are HD and picture looks great. Two simple coaxial cable to only the two boxes and from them it’s all Ethernet to the surround picture/sound brain the Blueray goes to the brain as does a PC . I think most of us thought that Blueray would be nothing more than BETA tapes were when they first came out or certainly wouldn’t still be here and I really thought fiber optic or something better would be here but nope. Who would have thought in 08 we would have TV’s that could be internet compatible or have dvr’s that would store 2000 hours of shows.

Na no rivalry with Arkansas, Mo is an Eastern School, So not like they can really do much to affect Western Standings, by the time we play we will either have a bowl game or know if we are going to the championship game. This forced attempt at a rivalry is stupid to say the least. The final game for a school in the regular season should be against a school in the same division. Bama v Au, Miss st v Ole Miss, Arkansas v LSU etc. Many I have spoke to think this is stupid and are very upset about losing the LSU v AR Friday after thanksgiving.

With you all the way on Official, They do protect the top end schools, there was calls in the Bama AU game I just shook my head at and several Arkansas games as well. I only see one way to stop it and that is Replay on all penalties and that I doubt will happen but it might more and more teams are bringing it up. I will be routing for Bama simply because I want an SEC School to smack the hell out of Florida and Bama will treat them worse than they did ND. They are on a mission this year after last years embarrassment. We all hate Satan Saban, but the man is a coaches coach and he is looking to redeem himself and his team and I really hate FL State with a passion. Now if FL loses this weekend I would like to see MO knock Bama out and see a great Playoff. I would be happy to see TCU Baylor Arizona Ohio State Those 4 have earned it more than Oregon and Florida. Though Ohio my heart has to go out to for the injuries and other. hat is a team who has shown true heart.

OTF, before the season I thought they would be a 3-9. after the first game I went to 6-6 I said it very early this year we could be a 6-6 school and would have two SEC upsets. I thought one would be to LSU and the other possibly to Ole Miss if Bad Bo showed up. Arkansas won both of them and weather definitely helped in that. Yes I am hard on the Razorbacks, I want to see W's in SEC Play but I am also happy when they keep it tight. I could handle a loss if both teams played their hearts out and the better team won. But I have not seen that to be the case 4 QUARTERS is a game not 3 and die. Im sick of hearing "Moral Victory" and "They will win when they earn it" It gets very old very fast. This team is better than that. Our defense has really impressed me but you know they are frustrated by the Offense NOT finishing off opportunities they give them. Our Running backs have not been what many of us thought this year but the Tight ends really stepped up, but no wide receiver threat and certainly no qb threat. This is what Arkansas needs to do to win IMO 1st get Brandons butt out of here! 2nd We are running back U and they need to start proving it 3rd We will probably be known as Tight End U and that is not only surprising but great to see. 4th We are the biggest O-line in all of football, start throwing that tonnage around and get our RB's big holes and pushes. 5th Recruit two Wide Receivers of the elite quality ( I would settle for 1 ) 6th We have to have a dual threat QB Brandon aint even a scare let alone threat and in todays football you have to have a qb who can scramble. That would make our offense very potent and dangerous, Combined with our D-line we could be a 10-2 11-1 team easily. We should have been 10-2 this year. I see the potential I see what Bret can do if people buy in to it but that O-line needs to do better. We must have 4 quarters, We must have a dual threat QB and people need to start yanking players who are not performing. Ya its all about education my butt. Now Defense We are losing two great players but I think we have others who will step up in to leadership so im not worried there but 1. Get us some fast and powerful safeties That's it the Arkansas D-line is very good and will keep you in games and win games for us if the O-line can capitalize on the turnovers. I am very proud of the D-line.

He was pulled and waived AA back off it was in multiple cameras. That falls on him. a TEAM player has to recognize when he is harming the TEAM. Brandon has been harming this team for two and a half years now. YA YA I know how he played hurt all last season and personally I am tired of hearing that and how gutsy it was of him and how much he has improved this year. I as well would have given him a pass last year and even the year prior lets face it we had a horrible coach in 12 and 13 really no viable option for back-up. But in 14 we had him supposed healthy and a viable back-up. Now I do not put it all on him as I said but I sure am putting a great load of it on him. He just is not the hype and ratings he came with. We have seen that before with high ranked recruits and there comes a time the coaching staff has to say this guy just isn't what we need. Brandon is NOT an SEC nor top 5 conference calibers QB. He just is not! 2012----------- 21 of 49 passes for 186 yards. Not even 50% 2013-----------128 of 258 passes for 1552 yards. again not even 50% 2014-----------178 of 316 passes for 2125 yards. Finally he hits above 50% but barely with 56% Rushing is even more embarrassing 2012--------------------36 attempts for negative 13 yards 2013--------------------29 attempts for 29 yards 2014-------------------- 8 attempts for negative 3 yards Bielema is a good coach, im not sure if he just has never experienced this and wants to stick it out for what the team had to endure or what. But there is a point he needs to get back to being a Business Coach and pull out sub-par athletes. To be Fair though lets look at another QB from the SEC West. Same style team to a degree. Blake Sims Passing 2012--------------5 of 10 for 77 and a 50% comp ratio 2013--------------18 of 29 for 167 and a 62 comp ratio 2014--------------207 of 328 for 2988 and a 63%comp ratio Rushing 2012-----------------30 for 187 yards 2013-----------------15 for 61 yards 2014-----------------64 for 302 yards I wouldn't think of Sims as a "GREAT" QB by any means but what is expected out of a Big 5 QB and certainly a game manger which is what Bama uses its QB's for. Sims threw 7 INT's this year but Allen threw 5 and in the same time frame ( 12 to 14 ) Sims threw 7 and Allen threw 18! If the game is close or on the line and we have to have QB with an arm we will continue to lose with BA as our QB that isn't anything but fact! If we have to rely on a QB who can scramble for yards or keep a play alive we will lose with BA that is a fact. Football in todays world you need a QB who can scramble for yards if needed, a QB with a good arm and one NOT afraid to take a hit. I do not know how our two back-ups will respond in a full game situation but I would like to know. We had an opportunity FRIDAY with nothing to lose at all we had a bowl already and could have played AA and seen how he did in the situation and we should have. Perfect opportunity and I put that on the coaches, but the second half I put on BA he was hurt and knew it and should have stepped up. We had NOTHING to lose and his health to protect. STUPID STUPID STUPID both on him and coaches. Im tired of seeing stupid out of the coaches and team I want to see WINS and especially in games we could have and should have. We should have put away A&M ! We should have put away Bama! we could have put away Miss St and Mizz. I cant help but sit back and say that would be a 6-6 team to a 10-2 and possible playoff team. I see it for what it is, Bad players and Bad coaching. Coaching I understand to a degree this is something all new to them and I actually admire them for coming in to a program that was so - - - - - - up. I admire them for trying to stick with the junk they got handed. But there is a time they have to take the bandaid off and put hot metal to the wound so it stops bleeding. I hope when the last of the BobbyP kids and JLS Kids are gone and the taste is forgotten that the coaches can turn things around. I think next year if we pick up the right people in recruiting this year and get rid of BA we could be an 8-4 to 10-2 team maybe better. But if BA is back next year I may not even watch, honestly im tired of trainwrecks and hopes and prayers each week. I want Wins on the score board NOT MENTAL WINS OR MORAL VICTORIES.

Wayne your point is very valid to me, it should be the entire season based on strength of schedule first then head to head outcomes versus ranked opponents and then on to Head to head Conference play and Division play. I kept hearing yesterday how the committee would be looking at injuries possibly as part of that. Now if that is true then all it seems is the committee is trying to do is give good match-ups for ratings and not true champions as to me a champion must play through any adversity that arises. I still believe a 12/ 0 team could and should not make the playoffs if their schedule as a whole doesn't warrant it. I will give an example most here are familiar with. Arkansas Games and opponents ranking at time of playing. And ranking at final of season 1. Arkansas blanked a number 16 and #8 team. The team obviously got better each game as the season went on and had probably the toughest schedule in all of NCAA football arguably. Covering Cooper is a nightmare for anyone, He of all the Heisman potentials is the one I feel most deserving of it ( my opinion ). Bama looked beatable in the first half second half looked like demons on a mission. FloridUH State would not want to meet Bama in the championship if last nights second half Bama showed up

We will see how legit they are next year, I try to be honest with myself each year, the D-line this year came out of no place and was proud to see that but we are losing some of that next year and at least 1 or 2 people will have to step up. We also must obtain 2 safeties for that line. Special teams smells worse than the skunk did I let under my buddies truck on opener a couple years ago. O-line is Big and built for the run and why we don't run more I keep scratching my head on. Our Tight-ends are very good and our running backs are awesome. We need at least one Elite wide receiver and a Quarterback. Yes I will be on BA's _ _ _ he sucks I don't care what team he is on I would say it. Im not happy with what I saw from our coaches tonight leaving him in ( not because he sucks " which he does" ) but because I do not think anyone so obviously injured should EVER be left in and put in unneeded danger. The coaches need to be called on the carpet in Jeff Longs Office for that stunt or the NCAA that was NOT acceptable. I think Bret is a good coach for Arkansas and we can be something very good but still a few areas need work.

I thought Arkansas would win today until the coaches and ba refused to come out or pull him out with such a glaring injury. See other thread for more of my anger on that though. But I will stand by my statement Mizz does not even if they win the SECC to go to the final 4. Baring anything weird happening this final weekend them they would stay at 17 and still not be in a 16 game playoff picture. They just do not deserve to be there IMO. Hog, Here is my closing argument. Brandon knew he was hurt but refused to pull himself from the game. That shows lack of judgment at best on both his part and the coaches but worse IMO is it shows he puts himself before the team. A badly injured QB that even my blind dog and even blinder grandmother could see yet he refused to come out is NOT a team player. He rather stay in and cost us the loss than pull himself out and let someone else in.... Yes the coaches should have yanked him they are the final word but he waved them off twice I saw before I turned the tv out of pure frustration. I WOULD HOPE there is a NCAA rule someplace that leaving in an obviously injured player results in a fine and sanction of the coaches. I would say this about any team. I CAN HONESTLY NEVER REMEMBER seeing a player so obviously injured and left in, it endangered and should never be allowed.

No Jerry, they should not if they win the SEC Championship. The reason is they are currently Ranked 17th with a 10-2 Record. No Matter if they Win the SEC Championship one of the West schools will still have a better record than them. Bama or Ole Miss will be a 11-1 and the other 10-2 Both with better strength of schedules. TCU, Ohio, Baylor are all better off as well then you have to factor in the Reigning National Champions FL ST even though their schedule suckes they are still champs and undefeated. And what Arizona just did opens a big case for them. Missouri's role would be a spoiler potential for the SEC going to the play-offs in all honesty.

The river I have no clue as if im on it in winter im shooting ducks. But I have seen guys fishing it in deeper cuts with spider rigs. by deeper I mean maybe 10ft to 15ft
