I just looked at the ( AP , USA TODAY and ESPN Power ) polls and right now there should be 3 SEC West schools in the final four if it happened today http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings I would also throw FLAst and ND out of the discussion as their strength of schedule is week to say the least and I would move up Baylor and Alabama so it would still be based on strength of schedule 3 SEC West teams. If schools with a 11-1 12-0 don't make the playoffs because of a week schedule I am all for it, Lets see them stop taking on creampuffs and start playing tough schools. I would love to see as an example any SEC school lose the creampuff 4 games and play FLAst, USC, ND and Oregon. Lets answer some questions. And I bet if the 11-1 teams don't make the playoffs based off strength of schedule we may see the SEC schools at least lose those creampuff games and start playing each other more. I could see the 4 creampuff games traded to four SEC East school. Talk about a Strength of Schedule then.

I have wondered from the first day they announced this new formula if it was not geared to start forcing teams out of their division if it was not a strong one or at least find ways to play tougher teams some way.

I still hate the 4 team scenario I really wish they would have done an 10 team but anything is better than a computer ranking people.

The first "Official Rankings" will not be until October 28th so right now NO ONE is Ranked officially, a lot could happen 3 weeks. The committee has stated that 1 "strength of schedule will be one of the most pertinent considerations" 2 head-to-head results 3 team records 4 injuries and weather 5 conference championships THERE WILL NO LONGER BE 1 Polls 2 Computer Rankings I wouldn't expect to see FLAst in #1 if Auburn keeps winning and FLAst might be as low as #4

Glen cant help myself, I have done these before and my Prof was more anal about surveys than anyone could dream of. He had two sayings. 1 You can write a 5000 page paper with all the pretty graphs, charts and pictures but if you cannot explain it in to people in 5 minutes on a third grade level it is worthless. 2nd was all the stratum in the world doesn't matter when dealing with living things because they move and shift and you can never know true numbers or true effect but the government pays you a buttload of cash for them so get your grants boys they hand them out like candy. He said one thing but asked another and I just wanted to know is this a 2 part survey or a single on invasive if 2 part where is the other part.

Ryno,. Your survey appears to be heavy on invasive species and almost nonexistent on your own listed subject matter above. Why ask a question asking about how many days you fished for trout in the last 12 months ( there are numerous areas not in Bennett Springs or even other trout parks that that question will encompass )? Second questions was about trout parks, why didn't you ask specifically about Bennett as that is Local Fishery your survey is about? Fourth question is a throw away as it is open to way to many factors as it allows opinion in. Some may say Habitat others may say More trout and you could have some throw in answers not related to anything like ( more trash cans ). And finally, If your focus was to assess angling preference and satisfaction why did you have 6 of 10 questions aimed at invasive species? This survey seemed more aimed at invasive species than angler as the Title of the Survey says and not about what you just said. I am confused if you want to know about Angler Satisfaction or about Anglers views on Invasive species. Is there a second survey we didn't see about Bennett Springs fishing only, or is this the only one you have done. I really cannot see how you can rate a persons satisfaction and preference on angling by this survey alone.

Ole Miss must have gone rabbit hunting this week and shot every rabbit and took all their feet in the State... Miss State I have been warning people about. TCU was a total shock to me.... At the start of a normal BCS year I would have said ND and FLS would be two teams ranked high and probably facing each other in the NC they have weak opponents for the most part. But the committee I am not sure how it will play out, I am really waiting to see how this goes with that.

Boobie, as long as your happy that's all that matters, I will say I am not a fan of flocked simply because of maintenance if you hunt hard and the only thing that required more than flocked was having stuffers. Just take the time to protect them to and from the field and they should last you.

I cannot tell you the last time I remember a hogs team playing four solid quarters against a quality opponent. That has always even in the years with Jones and McFadden been our Achilles heel we do not finish games off. If you look at other teams in the division when they put a game away they have their second and even third lines come in to finish the game giving them true game experience and time and though they may not look like the first line there can be no doubt they are a Div 1 School. Arkansas DOES NOT have the depth to even think about doing that especially against another D1 school. I do not think Bret can build that type of team unless he starts winning and he HAS TO BEAT AN SEC WEST SCHOOL! I see what he trying to build and believe it is the answer to the high power air attack offenses. However without the depth in both offense and defense to last 4 quarters he WILL NOT get the recruits to make that happen. He inherited a team whose moral was nonexistent maybe even beyond that. I expected nothing in his first year; He did manage a cornerstone and good foundation on offense this year “he missed the dam net even”! looks very good, loose the kicker, hell let our Aussie kick it I bet he can at least hit the net from 50 yards out or more and give him some practice he might hit it from 60 and be very accurate, not to mention all the other teams would have to worry about him running a fake. I do believe we will upset at least 2 SEC teams this year simply because we are Arkansas and they will take us too lightly and pay for it. Next year we will hopefully get the Defense we need with a pair of good safeties. If Brett gets left alone by his bosses I can see year 4 being a bowl championship year and a renewal of his contract year 7 being a National Championship Playoff Team. The guy took on a massive challenge and unless he is left alone to build a team and one that can recruit because of its ability to win and produce NFL players then Arkansas will remain a bottom level SEC West School. But him left alone and we can finally be something great.
