So, the iris is like a mood ring then. Somebody who is supposed to know everything about bass, claims that a red lip on a bass means he's eating crawdads. Personally I think that's a crock of BS. Just leads to the question of....How much rooting for crawdads does it take to give him a lip-rash?

Find the nearest Marine repair shop and drop it off there. Ask them to charge the batteries and check the air in the trailer tires. Pick it up and pay them (probably 30.00) when you are ready to go fishing. When done fishing, drop it off again and ask them to charge the batteries and change the gear lube. Pick it up and pay them when you wanna go fishing again (probably 30.00) Rinse and repeat. Have them do spark plugs, change a fuel filter, or some other mundane $#!t next time. This is what these bi-monthly city peckerwoods (who just don't want to tow their boats back home and want cheap storage) do to me until I get tired of it and stick it in their @$$ real good. 😂

I've watched chickens walking around in people's yards. They are great recyclers. One will take a poop, and the closest one behind her will immediately eat it. 😳

I haven't seen a MDC agent check a fisherman since they started the online permit thing. They used to always check people down at the bridge during the white bass run numerous times every year, but ever since they switched over to where you have to print your own fishing license they stopped coming around. I don't see the little green/white runabout checking on the dock crappie folks anymore either. I've only been checked at Bennett (for FISHING) once in my whole life, but have been harrassed for other unrelated crap 3 times.

I don't think anyone at MDC is willing to get into splitting hairs over a particular fly "pattern". A lawyer would have a field day with that. I'd be willing to bet 1000.00 that I can beat anyone employed by MDC in a quiz regarding fly fishing and/or fly tackle.

Yep, a "frost" colored sili-worm wrapped over red thread is a well known Trout Park and Tailwaters killer.

I'd call it a bluegill if I caught it. I don't think you can pay any attention to the red eye thing. 1/2 the fish in the creeks around my place have red eyes regardless if they are bass, bluegill, or green sunnies. I think their eye color changes for whatever reason.

All this talk of flying squirrels, and I've never even seen one in real life, only in pictures. We had albino squirrels running around at the local archery range and we at first thought they were flying squirrels, but they weren't. Had to shoot one to find out. 😅
