  1. Well I kept the Hooligah's from Baldehar from overtaking the world. And I did it with nothing but a shotgun, a bass rod, and my skills at being a total jackass. So in lieu of payment for THAT I request they forgive the arrears from Circle J and let folks back in their friggin trailers.
  2. What did the IRS do to earn any money ?
  3. How did we go from 73° to 81° in 2 days ?
  4. Better place for children? Hell it's a GREAT place for children, All the coolest stuff, and they don't even get whoopins anymore. Just announce that a child is unhappy today and the money, gifts and attention comes pouring in like crazy. How could it possibly be better?

  6. Topher, the bottom line is that IF you are in a tournament you can still cull your best 5 fish limit, regardless of whether you have a partner or not. You can twist it any way you choose but THAT is the way it is enforced.....As if it ever has been (or will be) enforced, which it hasn't and won't be. It's not even among the polygraph questions.
  7. And I wish I had never been accused of being anti-cop.
  8. I have saved 7 lives so far. Legitimately. I keep count just for conversations like this one. What was the guy that killed the cop guilty of .....I mean BEFORE he killed the cop ? Late paying child support, or had he smacked some chick that was too stupid to leave when she shoulda? Just curious what the cop truly gave his life to save us all from. Apparently he failed to assess the situation fully. You can't just go arresting people and assume they are all gonna go without a fight. And when they DO fight, well that's where you remember how you got your certificate. You can't serve and protect ANYONE if you're dead.
  9. No, you release it, possibly hours later, after weigh-in. So in one aspect releasing one earlier is a good thing.
  10. They are highly trained and have all the latest toys to ensure they can stay on top of any possible situation, plus they have oodles of backup at the ready AND they can retreat until backup arrives if things get the slightest bit spooky. So how anyone can claim their job is so utterly dangerous is beyond me. A job driving a truck or working at a convenience store is more "dangerous" than being a successfully trained LEO armed to the teeth. IMO. But that's just me thinking out loud. Means nothing. There's a reason why I don't stick my hand in the flywheel of a running engine.
  11. Oh I would LOVE to do ride-along. "But officer, that car never crossed the yellow line". "Excuse me sir, but why did you pull over the car with Colorado plates for not having a license plate light, but none of the other 795 we've seen tonite?" "Yes she WAS a fox....but was that really a lane violation? Everyone including yourself uses the turn lane to enter traffic too. It was really white of you to make it a verbal warning instead of the way you socked it to the dude in the old truck though". "Hey, shouldn't we offer to help those folks that are having car trouble?" "Instead of waiting until the cars leave the bar parking lot why don't we offer them a ride home, since you know they live just around the corner". "Do you always carry a rock of methamphetamine in your front pocket?".
  12. If anyone truly cared about the treatment of bass there would be WAY fewer "tournaments" every weekend. Or at the very least...a smarter/easier way to keep score.
  13. No not "anti-cop" at all, but I understand why it might seem that way. Society needs laws AND a team out there whose job is to enforce them, so we do need LEO's. I am strongly against the way many of them operate however, and if there were truly any good ones that took their oath seriously then the punkass ones couldn't last 2 weeks with any department before being fired. I'm not cool with the brotherhood crap thing that they have going on, it's not good for anyone and does absolutely nothing to ensure anyone's safety or prevent any crimes. And it costs us (decent people) hard earned money. Lots of it... with no positive results. The only ones who benefit from todays typical LEO's and their gestapo practices are the lawyers. Thefts haven't decreased. Drug use hasn't decreased. Murders and wrongful assaults haven't decreased. Traffic accidents haven't decreased. Hell, fuel drive-offs haven't even decreased. So what exactly is it that makes them so awesome and highly respected? So much so that the badged ones are themselves above the laws? Incoming !!!!
  14. Nedding is a definite possibility, and I'll fillet a green bass quicker than anyone. Especially a Ned caught one. You'll never see me with a bottle of Seafoam though, I'm not too cheap/lazy to tear into an engine and fix it the RIGHT way.
  15. You can't eat fish in Texas ? That sucks!
  16. Yeah he is. Cuz if he crashes into you it will be YOUR fault. And they'll start a fund raiser for HIS family.
  17. WTH are you talking about ?
  18. 15 is respectable. We fished specifically for bigger fish yesterday and could only scrape up about 13 lbs. in 4 hours. My Ned'ing days may be getting closer.
  19. Curious, when a LEO gets killed while on duty is there no insurance payoff or social security payments for the family ? Every time an officer dies there are always huge fund raisers for the family as if they are suddenly left penniless, but when anyone else dies the family's just deal with it. Do Lawmen not have life insurance or pay social security like everyone else? Why do cop families require so much extra cash in order to deal with things after an unexpected death? My mom worked for the state and her insurance was outstanding. Are cops/troopers/county LEO's not privy to the same type coverage?
  20. Honestly, what would you estimate the weight of your best 5 keepers ?
  21. Thanks, I may launch at Purvis here in the next day or so and see if I can make that work for me. There's a few other things I've been itching to try around there as well.

    What's Cooking?

Reminds me of my ONE attempt at homemade pork rinds. That smell soaks into the furniture. Not good.
