  1. No kidding! Let's put all our attention on curing cancer, Then we can worry about CWD
  2. Ok, pretend I said "rogue protein" instead of Virus then. 🙄 The "reason" is likely a result of overpopulation. To which you could arguably blame enforced seasons/ limits and restricted harvest areas (suburbs), as much as you can blame the confined farming practice.
  3. Since every single animal whose meat we consume is not individually tested for CWD then how in the world can anyone point a finger at DEER when someone reportedly dies or becomes ill from a spongiform type virus ? Is it not safe to pick blackberries either? How can it be? The whole CWD thing is just biologist blabber (propaganda for a reason other than the publics welfare), if an animal appears healthy then I'm not afraid to cook it and eat it. If that mindset kills me then so be it.
  4. If LD ever actually read the Bible he would be a staunch athiest and would be spending his time writing about THAT instead.
  5. Step #1 is to catch them as far from a hatchery as possible. Or buy them from a place that raises them specifically for tablefare. Troutdale ranch raises some absolutely delicious brookies and rainbows.
  6. Consider them pinged 😎 Cricket can't make it.
  7. Where "in the Bible" does it say that?
  8. That's disappointing 😞 I haven't seen it yet this year, but that's always been one of my favorite pieces of the river. Usually is loaded with 12-15" smallies and the occasional trout.
  9. At the moment my plan is to be there mid-day Thursday, early enough to set up camp and then sample the nearby evening bite. I may bail on Saturday. Weather, river conditions, and how crowded it gets after Friday could dictate a change in my plans.
  10. No definitely not. Otherwise it wouldn't be "flowing". But water is backing UP the Gravois arm right now, so the level there is actually going to be slightly lower than it is at Bagnell.....until it starts moving the right direction again.
  11. That would be Truman tailwater level. Not Lake Ozark level. The only guage for LO level is at Bagnell dam as far as I know. My observation yesterday was at MM15 on the Gravois (backwater) and it was over a foot above 660 for sure. None of this is a BIG DEAL or anything, especially to me. But this data goes down in the books as "RECORDS". What good are false records?
  12. Hey Friend, I'm not offended. And I never said they "lied". Just pointed out that they posted false information. Then I PROVED IT. And then I speculated on why they might do that, since it was obviously done on purpose. The data on their site goes down as "records" for the future. What good are false records ?
  13. Here's what you opened up with. In case you forgot. Can we be friends now, or not?
  14. Was it easier for you to say that, instead of... "Oh I see what you mean now, gotcha"? I never yelled, and it wasn't ME doing the antagonizing. Now was it?
  15. What difference does it make whether it is "DAILY" or not? The COE doesn't have a guage on LO, so where do you think they got that number (661.6) from? Here's the numbers Ameren posted to the public for 6/12. So what the heck are you talking about?
  16. Ameren's page gets updated hourly. They showed a high of 659.1 for 6/12. "Theory" it isn't. I know a true 660 when I see it, and it was a good bit above that. So what's your theory behind why they'd report different numbers to the people than they did to the COE?
  17. Boom! Did I call it, or did I call it? I knew that wasn't right. 😎 661.6 So yep, they are obviously trying to BS the locals. The ignorant ones anyway. That's funny. They gotta be doing that because everyone looses their mind when the lake tops 660. Trying to keep the masses calm. 😄
  18. Lake Ozark level at Bagnell is being reported at 659.1 and there is no way that is accurate. I am seeing more like 661.5
  19. I dunno, but I've never seen water move at the 36mm like it was this afternoon. She's a rollin', boy! I betcha there will be alot of busted dock cables. There's no way all these buffoons are prepared for this.
  20. Club it in the head and fillet the loins out of it. 😎👍 Then you can mow.
  21. If you're closer to me than Wal-Mart is..... I'll take it. 😊
  22. And for some reason he loves keeping everything a mystery. Innocent children suffer with disease and war wounds while he helps others get promotions and car loans. 🤔
  23. Once it was scored, battered, and fried.... I bet you couldn't have told the difference between it and that redhorse.
  24. Drunk teenagers scare you? I was gonna raz you about that, but then I remembered that any spider bigger than a pencil eraser puts me into shock. So I'll just let it go. 😏
