although i do use braid in some occasions im with fins on the flouro part it took me a long time to come around to trying it b/c i had bought a bad spool of it and my first experience was that all fouro was JUNK. not the case i have recently started to try the flouro again with my jigs and texas rig soft plastics paired with tungsten sinkers the sensitivity is hands down just flat out rediculous i will never go back to mono or lead for texas rig applications the tungsten and flouro have you setting on the fish before it even gets the bait all the way in its mouth until you get used to it. just my opinion oh and the flouro i have given a second chance is the vicious flouro pro elite i really really like it

i used to use the pp regular but have since upgraded to the pp super slick and i mean i love the stuff its kinda pricey almost double the regular but its just simply better its limp very castable absolutely no stretch and it doesnt burry up very very good stuff and to answer al's question i found that with the regular pp i had some issue with it getting burried up on the spool other than that its fine i just don't have those problems with th super slick i found it a hook line and sinker in rogers. walmart has the regular pp but not the slick you can also get it online from tackle warehouse

me and my daughter she is four years old went on the kinkgs river saturday the 31st and caught em in just a couple feet of water on minnows and a bobber right up next to the bank we went back the next day on sunday for an hour or two (shes not very patient if we arent catching them) and couldnt catch em hardly at all only two little ones but i think the water had fallen about ten inches over night so they may be pretty finicky right now with the continued falling waters. but they sure seem like they want to spawn just couldnt make them self do it. water falling too fast

i personally am a flippin nut it doesnt matter the water temp or even time of year i can find something to flip no matter where im at if im runnin a bank burnin spinnerbaits and see a laydown you bet im gonna find something layin around the boat to flip in there its simply just fish habitat and there in there maybe not every one but alot of em have fish on em. up in the rivers beaver hut? im in it. main lake in july im in it. dont matter it only take a few inches to hold a fish dont need feet. it has alot to do with peoples style of fishing some people, flippin doesnt ever even cross their mind. just like you dont see very many people crankin a mans thirty plus on this lake but it works more people opt for the dropshot different strokes

yes they still make the rack and pinion motors and they are cheaper too! i personally would rather have to fix a wire myself than have to pay someone to fix a circuit board so keep that in mind. queen i personally like the motorguide because to me when i push the pedal/accelerator i want it to go not gradually get up to speed like the min kota i used to have i just didnt like it. next it sound to me like you had a bad connection if it went from your t motor head unit to your harness then back to the battery as well. you need to get that straightned out first and foremost because it dont matter how new or how good you buy its going to happen again if you dont i recomend replacing it all i used to try to salvage everything i could but it really is better to spend the dollar and it be right and up to par then to go a few weeks or trip have a reoccurance and wished you would have spent the dollar in the first place and like larry said plese put a circuit breaker back there near your batteries it anywhere from ten to twenty dollars and better to shut yourself down than to start a fire

im with wrench with the mounted resrvoir and usually when im back there checking something like that out i usually alway dump my water seperator too you could have a small crack in your line or something letting it get air and not the correct flow of oil to keep your alarm from going off as well check all your lines could even be loose or bad seal where it comes from your main reservoir letting it suck air there too again my alarm has gone off before and everything was fine and i dump the seperator and it quits so? i dont know why it really going off thats just what i do -
when the crappies are up doing their thing i dont think it matters the color of jighead ive caught more on a regular lead head w a white swimmin minnow than i have anything else besides at this time of year who is to say. see two different guys go out both catch limits one guy does it in an hour one does it in two is it the color, fisherman, or amount of crappie staged up on a specific type/piece of cover fattening up before the spawn. just my two cents

ive heard tell many times that if your launching around kimberling any tourney on the lake can be one any time of year just about within 2 1/2 miles of kimberling i have to think theres some truth to that seeing as how so many fish get released there year after year during these cpa, flw, paa, tourneys weigh in there just think about how many fish they bring in from all over the lake to spawn in that vicinity there are NO shortage of fish in our lake i can promise you that and like bill said them females are gonna spawn no matter where they are provided they stay alive

if a guy can catch 14 or 15lb a day by being consistent he could probably get it done or at least top ten thats the way its been fishing lately to me and thats being kinda generous

March 26Th. Table Rock Lake Bass Fishing Report
riverfish replied to Bill Babler's topic in Table Rock Lake
now if we are on a good bite and it starts raining do we go in? or if it gets dark and the fish are tearing your pole out of you hand do we go in? if you got nice breeze is blowin and the fish are biting and a 25ft cobalt comes by throwin you 2 or 3 foot rollers and then passes on do we go in? the point that im trying to make is that these are all part of the conditions that we have to learn how to fish in no matter how many people are on the water. you know if i had the money to fish a ton of days a year with no regaurd of money i probably would do so but i dont. therefore when i do get the opportunity to go i have to adapt to the conditions no matter what they may be. do you think that the weekenders are going to stay home just because there is a big derby goin on so that the tourney men can get the most and the best bites that THEY can find? i dont think so im not . i am one who lives and works near the lake and in the summertime i see the tourists come in and think alright good check this week and then go out fishin on the weekend and curse the very same people i was glad to see come in to my place of work. if i stop and think about it i can start to see the selfishness but then again i guess we all get that way sometimes. after all my favorite holliday is labor day and i think we all know what that means -
hey college fish do by chance run a swift?

figure out how much you want/or are willing to spend on a good unit and then spend just a little more and get the next one up i say that because my experience is that if i just get what i think i can afford im usually unhappy in a short period of time and wish i would have got the next one up even though it would strectch me a little more

is this still on for tomorrow? -
get your flippin sticks out cause its on! at least for a couple days. i personally like it when the lake gets a little higher than normal and up in the bushes. not necessarily flooding high but a little higher than normal. i figured i would start this just to see what people on the forum style/favorite type of fishing is after all it is about time where we all should be doing what we love style wise

thanks for the info looks fine to me about the same price as down here on table rock too thanks again

hey guys, im looking for a spot to camp on stockton like ive always used the greenfield ramp on day trips but i wanna bring the camper and stay a few days i looked on the corp map and couldnt find anything near there i was wondering if there was something with electric hookups that may not be on the map, again i would appreciate any and all help thanks

two inches isnt going to do a whole lot to the lake level unless it comes down in about an hour in which case it could come up some but i couldnt imagine getting over maybe 917 at most with just two inches i don't really want to see a flood but i would like it if the water got up in the brush especially when fishrman said he saw some beds already in the white river end above shell knob i just think its great for the hatch and better for the fishing (if you like flippin)

for me it kinda depends on how you look at it and whether you want to live in luxury or just get by i fish a tourney evey year on grand ake that cost 200 to get in i spend about another two hundred and fifty on gas motel/food i dont usually figure my tackle b/c i buy in bulk and i have it already and would use it even if i was just "fun fishin" same with my line so i dont figure them as an expense i try to use my vacation time for prefish days and tournament days if they are in the week so im not really losing money there either so i think its up to the angler and how the individual can manage their finances and all the other variables mentioned so it does cost money that i wouldnt normally spend but, if i was to go over there for fun it would still cost about the same outside of the entry fee. as far as fishing derbys here on the rock small or larger entry fee is about all i consider a "cost" because i would be fishing anyway all i would be looking for by entering is a chance to make an extra dollar by doing something i would be doing already so again for me its all in how a person looks at it. i do think that if a person was to try to make a living doing it they would need sponsorship. savings only go so far and ive ate light and slept in my truck before its not as fun as one might think but all it takes is five good bites in the right tourney to open some doors so if thats your dream i say go for it! but not getting them bites can also hurt so... nothing that was ever worth it was easy

its a shame about the lack of a license and the fines but i dont really care what he caught it on or what line was used its still the catch of a lifetime as long as it "actually was" caught on a hook line and pole i could only imagine catching a fish that size. makes a person think about spending a thousand dollars every spring to go to texas amd catch the fish of a lifetime when it could be in your own back yard huh? -
they do have us predicted for mon-wed to be right around the 80 mark hopefully this cold rain didnt drive the water temp down much the warm weather should really help us out though
